At a dance, Bai Cao became intoxicated. When Chu Yuan arrived, Bai Cao, in her drunken state, mistook him for Ruo Bai and embraced him. Chu Yuan carried her into the hall, where Ting Yi saw them and poured champagne over Bai Cao's face. Just then, Ting Hao and Ruo Bai entered the hall. Ruo Bai swiftly went to Bai Cao, carried her to his room, and carefully cleaned her face.
As she regained consciousness, Bai Cao asked Ruo Bai if he had forgiven her, to which he simply replied, "Yes." Bai Cao later thanked Senior Chu Yuan for his help in locating Piao Dong Yuan. Piao Dong Yuan was found to be staying in a nearby hotel; Teacher Qu had been denied entry to Chang Hai. Chu Yuan went to bring him.
Piao Dong Yuan then tearfully confessed to everyone that years ago, while drunk, he had put a stimulant in Teacher Qu's water, leading to Teacher Qu's permanent expulsion from Yuan Wu Dao. He apologized profusely, admitting his fault and stating he was prepared for any punishment. Qu Xiang Nan, however, graciously accepted his apology, expressing gratitude that Piao Dong Yuan chose to confess after so many years.
Qu Xiang Nan said he could finally be at ease, knowing his daughter and student would no longer be troubled by the injustice. Jin Yi Shan, realizing he had continuously humiliated an innocent man for years, felt deep regret and sincerely apologized to Qu Xiang Nan, then personally presented him with his well-deserved trophy. Jin Yi Shan also challenged Qu Xiang Nan to a fair match the following year, which Qu Xiang Nan accepted.
Seeing her father’s name cleared, Guang Ya was deeply moved and finally called him "Daddy." She lovingly applied pain relief medicine to his neck. Bai Cao was also overjoyed for her master, though she momentarily worried that Teacher Qu might not need her as much now that Guang Ya was openly expressing her affection. He also advised her to wholeheartedly pursue what she truly loved, whether it was Yuan Wu Dao or anything else. Chu Yuan then confessed his feelings to Bai Cao, telling her he liked her and would support her no matter her response, adding that he didn't want to wait any longer to tell her.
He also asked if his confession had made things awkward for her, reassuring her that he would still be her "first love senior," providing help and coaching whenever she needed, and asked her not to avoid him. Before Bai Cao could fully respond, Xiao Ying, unable to contain her excitement, passionately spoke for her, revealing that Bai Cao had liked Senior Chu Yuan for a long time.
Xiao Ying recounted how Bai Cao cherished every small item Chu Yuan had given her, like the elderberry bracelet and even a cleaned, empty medicinal oil bottle. When Chu Yuan asked Bai Cao if this was true, Xiao Ying enthusiastically confirmed it, then encouraged Chu Yuan and Bai Cao to date happily, celebrating their new relationship. As Chu Yuan took Bai Cao's hand, Ting Hao arrived with Ruo Bai, who looked frail and unwell.
Xiao Ying noticed Ruo Bai's condition, believing he might have a fever, and planned to visit him. Ting Hao confronted Bai Cao, asking if she and Chu Yuan were truly dating, and cryptically warned her that "what you see might not necessarily be everything." He then went to Ruo Bai, who had an arm injury, suspecting he was hurt while helping Bai Cao find the security guard to clear Teacher Qu's name.
Ruo Bai asked Ting Hao not to tell anyone about his injury. Ting Hao was deeply moved by Ruo Bai's silent sacrifices for Bai Cao, but honored his promise not to reveal the full truth, only urging Bai Cao to carefully consider her feelings and not to "wrong" someone who loved her deeply. Bai Cao, however, remained confused by his words.
Later, Li En Xiu met Ting Hao and confessed her long-standing feelings for him, which had only deepened over time. Ting Hao admitted that he had initially thought he liked her too, but after meeting Bai Cao, his feelings changed. Bai Cao rejected Ting Hao, expressing respect but no romantic feelings. He shrugged off her rejection, claiming his heart was "like Iron Man's" and impervious to such blows.
He then reiterated his earlier warning to Bai Cao, hinting at Ruo Bai’s selfless love for her by recalling Ruo Bai's past declaration of protecting Bai Cao with his life and begging for justice on her behalf. Ting Hao promised to stop pursuing Bai Cao but asked to remain good friends. He pressed her again to honestly reflect on who she truly liked and if she truly loved Chu Yuan, leaving Bai Cao even more perplexed.
Li En Xiu, having overheard Ting Hao's conversation with Bai Cao, then asked him directly if he liked Bai Cao. When he confirmed his feelings, she pointed out that Bai Cao had already rejected him and offered herself, saying he could try liking her instead. Bai Cao received the Best Camper trophy and immediately tried to give it to Ruo Bai, insisting it was because of his guidance and help that she was able to defeat Jin Min Zhu.
Ruo Bai initially declined, but with urging from Chu Yuan and Xiao Ying, he accepted it, promising to take it back to An Yang for her. The victory earned Bai Cao the right to compete against Fang Ting Yi for a spot in the City Youth Competition. However, Ting Yi had made such rapid progress in her training that observers believed she could even match Li En Xiu, causing concern that Bai Cao stood no chance against her.
One evening, Mei Ling excitedly rallied everyone to Chu Yuan's room after seeing Li En Xiu enter it. They found En Xiu and Chu Yuan having tea, with En Xiu holding his arm and recounting a childhood story. Mei Ling and the others were caught peeking, trying to explain they were "looking at flowers." Li En Xiu then provocatively invited Bai Cao to join them, declaring herself "the most important girl in Brother Chu Yuan's heart."
Bai Cao, feeling hurt and confused, politely declined and left. Xiao Ying, upset on Bai Cao's behalf, expressed disbelief that Chu Yuan would act this way after confessing to Bai Cao, and questioned Li En Xiu's character. Bai Cao, deeply troubled, found herself questioning if Senior Chu Yuan and Senior En Xiu were truly in a relationship. Observing Bai Cao's distant behavior, Chu Yuan approached her, noting she had been avoiding him.
He reaffirmed that he only liked her and wanted to clear up any misunderstandings. He encouraged her to ask him any questions directly, no matter how big, promising he would not be angry or avoid her. He playfully asked if he would confess to her if he already had another girlfriend, further dispelling her doubts. Bai Cao thanked him, her understanding restored.
