New student military training began. Zhao Fanzhou assisted the instructor in supervising the new student military training. During the run, Zhou Xiao and Tao Ling were exhausted by the running. Tao Ling, in order to avoid military training, put on sick-looking makeup for herself and also instigated Zhou Xiao to do the same. Zhou Xiao originally didn't want to go along with it, but couldn't resist Tao Ling's persuasion.
At the training site, the instructor saw through their trick and treated everyone equally. The two had no choice but to pretend they had stomachaches, but the instructor was sharp and knew they were lying, so he punished them, supervised by Zhao Fanzhou. Tao Ling begged Zhao Fanzhou to do fewer push-ups, but Zhao Fanzhou completely refused.
Cai Yasi saw Tao Ling and Zhou Xiao being punished and quickly ran over to play the hero, but Zhao Fanzhou advised Cai Yasi that doing so was meaningless because it violated principles. Zhou Xiao was afraid that further conflict would be more troublesome, so she finally encouraged Tao Ling to complete the push-ups together. Zhou Xiao's optimistic and cheerful appearance made Zhao Fanzhou feel a stirring in his heart.
During the military training room inspection, Zhou Xiao used hairspray on her quilt and hid Zhu Lu's hair straightener in a bottle. Tao Ling had nowhere to put her own hair straightener, so she had to ask Zhou Xiao to throw it out the window. Jia Yichun reported Zhou Xiao to the instructor for throwing prohibited items and asked Zhao Fanzhou to testify. Unexpectedly, Zhao Fanzhou said he didn't see it, and Zhou Xiao thus escaped trouble.
When Zhu Lu returned to the room, she found her desk and quilt had been messed with, and she was very displeased. After the room inspection, Zhou Xiao ran downstairs to the flower bed to look for the hair straightener. She casually picked up a telescope and was about to play with it when she ran into Zhao Fanzhou. Zhou Xiao had to lie to him and say she was taking a walk. Unexpectedly, the dorm supervisor suddenly rushed over.
Zhou Xiao was scared and quickly stuffed the telescope into Zhao Fanzhou's hand. The dorm supervisor took Zhao Fanzhou to the security office and told them to clean up everything in the flower bed area. The two returned to the scene. Zhou Xiao looked around and found the hair straightener she had thrown was hanging on a tree, but she couldn't reach it at all. While Zhao Fanzhou was helping, Zhou Xiao noticed a very long scar on his arm.
The next day's military training was physical training: rock climbing. The instructor asked Zhao Fanzhou to tell everyone his score. Zhao Fanzhou said he couldn't remember clearly, so Zhou Xiao suggested he try again. The instructor then had Zhao Fanzhou perform rock climbing in front of everyone. His standardized and handsome movements greatly impressed everyone. At lunchtime, Jia Yichun invited Zhao Fanzhou to go home together for the National Day holiday, but he refused her.
Cai Yasi also came over to share a table with Zhou Xiao and deliberately provoked her. Just then, Zhao Fanzhou also happened to see a brand-new ugly photo of her. Zhu Lu drank Huoxiang Zhengqi water but unexpectedly got drunk. She looked quite abnormal and also lost her temper at Zhou Xiao and the other two. Zhou Xiao felt that Zhu Lu's condition was not right, so she and everyone else helped her to the school infirmary.
Zhu Lu was a bit embarrassed after waking up, but after this incident, the friendship between the four girls seemed to improve. The next day, during frog jump training, Luo Wei, Tao Ling, and Zhou Xiao's legs hurt terribly. Zhou Xiao walked with her feet splayed outwards. Cai Yasi also deliberately knocked off Zhou Xiao's hat. Zhou Xiao picked up her hat while enduring the pain in her legs.
Just then, she ran into Zhao Fanzhou, who, for the first time ever, helped her pick it up and put her hat back on properly. On the last day of military training, Zhou Xiao accidentally fell while performing a task. Zhao Fanzhou went over to help Zhou Xiao up and examined her. Jia Yichun picked up Zhou Xiao's radio and deliberately broke it in front of Cai Yasi. At the military training speech assembly, Jia Yichun's speech was interrupted.
A hacker conspicuously wrote "Your speech is really garbage" in large characters on the giant screen. Everyone started talking amongst themselves. Zhou Xiao immediately saw the calm and composed Cai Yasi and felt in her heart that it was possible Cai Yasi did it.
