Zhu Jiu visits the little girl whenever she has time and encourages her. The girl also loves Fu Yunshen's dog, and Zhu Jiu continues to support the girl. After Zhou Zhizhi's mother returns home, she complains to her husband that Fu Yunshen already has a girlfriend. Fu Yunshen, originally matching Zhou Zhizhi in social status, has now dumped her. The mother suggests her husband talk to Fu Yunshen, and the only way is to pressure Fu Yunshen's mother, Ms. Jiang. This might bring Fu Yunshen closer to Zhou Zhizhi.

Fu Yunshen identifies the problem in the investigation but worries that this alone may not gain public understanding. He instructs his secretary to re-investigate the situation. Fu Yunshen informs Fu Xizhou about the matter, stating that he's following his grandfather's instructions. Previously, he only focused on laboratory work, but now things have changed. Despite Jiang Jun's pleas, Fu Yunshen is not planning to let his brother off this time. Fu Yunshen goes to his mother and asks about her agreement to Jiang Jun changing the cold chain. The surgery for the little girl is approaching. Zhou Zhizhi is also assisting, and soon Ji Sirang joins them. Ji Sirang and Zhu Jiu work together seamlessly. At this time, Fu Xizhou searches for the marriage certificate at home. Suddenly remembering that Gu Ruanruan might have placed it in the safe, Fu Xizhou tries the password, initially failing but succeeding on the second attempt. Fu Xizhou quickly takes away the marriage certificate.

Fu Yunshen happens to hear that the little girl's surgery was very successful at the hospital, and even he can't help but smile.
