Chu Qiao accidentally discovered that Yue Qi entered Yuwen Yue's room and then disappeared. She realized there must be a secret passage in the room. After several attempts, she finally opened one. Following the secret passage inside, Chu Qiao was surprised to find that Yuwen Zhuo was still alive. Yuwen Zhuo wanted Chu Qiao to become a 'dead spy'. This was a mission that would almost certainly cost her life.

Yuwen Zhuo said it as if it were only natural, stating that Yuwen Yue had trained her for this very purpose anyway. Hearing these words, Chu Qiao's tears flowed uncontrollably. She quietly returned to her room, lay on the bed, and couldn't help but cry bitterly. If Yuwen Zhuo was still alive, what did her brother Linxi's death amount to? He was nothing more than a sacrifice in their power struggles.

What was even harder for Chu Qiao to accept was that Yuwen Yue had trained her simply to make her a 'dead spy', yet she had almost believed him, believing that everything he had done was for her own good. Yuwen Yue was urgently investigating the whereabouts of the spy from Liang. The Yue Spies tracked Yuwen Huai and found that he had left the city.

Yuwen Yue was incredibly intelligent; based solely on this, he deduced the fact that the spy from Liang was hiding in the ancient tomb. Just then, Yue Qi suddenly came in and told Yuwen Yue that Yuwen Zhuo wanted Chu Qiao to be a 'dead spy' to deal with the spy from Liang. Upon hearing this, Yuwen Yue immediately gathered all the Yue Spies and promptly headed to the ancient tomb outside the city.

To prevent Chu Qiao from becoming a 'dead spy' and not disobey his grandfather's wishes, he had to eliminate the spy from Liang beforehand. The bright moon hung high, the wind stilled, and the trees were quiet. Yuwen Huai and Xiao Yu were having a secret conversation in the woods. Initially, Yuwen Huai was still suspicious about their cooperation. He asked Xiao Yu why she had chosen him.

Xiao Yu honestly told him that she indeed had better candidates, but none of them had ambitions as great as his, and without ambition, naturally, there would be no determination to win. From then on, Yuwen Huai's commitment to their cooperation was unwavering. Xiao Yu told him that this mission was to incite the Emperor to deal with Marquis Northen Settler. Xiao Yu, looking confident, approached Yuwen Huai and whispered a few words secretly.

Just then, Taoye suddenly came over and told them that Yuwen Yue was leading a large group of Yue Spies towards the ancient tomb. Yuwen Huai's first reaction was to take Xiao Yu and the others with him to leave. But Xiao Yu had her own plans and told Yuwen Huai to hurry and meet the Emperor. No sooner had Yuwen Huai left than the sound of continuous horse hooves came from afar.

Yuwen Yue, dressed in black, with sword-like eyebrows and starry eyes, and a cold demeanor, led the charge. Xiao Yu put on her veil and took the initiative to attack. Her hidden weapons were formidable, but she was no match for Yuwen Yue. After a fight, Yuwen Yue successfully subdued Xiao Yu and Taoye. Just as he was about to question them, Yin Xin suddenly appeared, threw a smoke bomb, and simultaneously unleashed hidden weapons.

When the smoke cleared, Xiao Yu and the other two had vanished. Xiao Yu's whereabouts were always discovered by Yuwen Yue. Yin Xin suggested eliminating Yuwen Yue to prevent him from being a nuisance. In her heart, Xiao Yu still harbored a trace of different feelings for Yuwen Yue, only saying that it was not a good time to eliminate him yet. The grass rustled slightly, and a hand quietly pushed aside the green grass blocking the view.

Almost at the same time, Xiao Yu's silver needles flew out, and two Yue Spies fell to the ground instantly. A signal flare suddenly bloomed in the night sky. Upon seeing it, Yuwen Yue hurried to the dense forest. Waiting for him were Yue Spies who had already been replaced by Xiao Yu. The three caught him off guard and wounded him with poisoned needles. Yuwen Yue defeated them, then sat down to heal his wounds and detoxify.

After her sadness, Chu Qiao got up to find Zuo Baocang. She used two cute little mice to lure Zuo Baocang out. This thoughtfulness alone greatly pleased Zuo Baocang. Last time, when Chu Qiao asked for the Bliss Chamber map, Zuo Baocang had realized she wanted to deal with Yuwen Xi. The Bliss Chamber was full of traps and extremely dangerous. Zuo Baocang asked her how many helpers she had. Chu Qiao held up one finger.

When Zuo Baocang knew she was going alone, he exclaimed that she was crazy, saying it wasn't an assassination but clearly a suicide mission. Chu Qiao's expression was cold and aloof, her heart filled with desolation. What was there to fear in death? Since learning the purpose of Yuwen Yue's training, Chu Qiao was extremely disappointed and utterly disregarded matters of life and death. Zuo Baocang was very displeased with her nonchalant attitude.

He loudly insisted that he didn't want her to die. A trace of a smile finally appeared on Chu Qiao's face, for the warmth given by this person she had only recently met. Zuo Baocang gave her a hairpin to take into the Bliss Chamber, as no other weapons could be brought in.

He also prepared many handy weapons for her, telling her that after the mission was accomplished, she should follow the secret passage to the top floor terrace of the Bliss Chamber, and by then, Zuo Baocang would have placed these weapons there for her. Chu Qiao asked him why he wouldn't go with her since he could enter.

Zuo Baocang frankly stated that he was afraid of death; not wanting her to die was one thing, but accompanying her to her death was another. He felt he had already done everything he could. Before Chu Qiao left, Zuo Baocang gave her another treasure to keep with her. After returning, Chu Qiao practiced martial arts even more diligently. Yan Xun came over and asked her if she wanted to return to Northern Yan with him.

Chu Qiao asked him if Northern Yan was really as beautiful as he described. Yan Xun understood the deeper meaning in her words and, with a smile on his face, told her that Northern Yan had grasslands full of blooming flowers and the beautiful Xiuli Mountains. After receiving Chu Qiao's affirmative reply, the smile on Yan Xun's lips never faded. He specially went to select a unique saddle for Chu Qiao.

Chun'er accidentally saw Yan Xun meticulously choosing the saddle and thought it was for her. She rushed into the shop, grabbed the saddle, and thanked her Yan Xun Gege for giving her such a good saddle. Chun'er was too excited, continuously speaking to express her joy, while Yan Xun hesitated to speak. The two came to the lake.

Chun'er asked him if he remembered giving her a saddle when they were children, saying, "From that time on—" Before she could finish, Yan Xun quickly interjected, saying that from that time on, he had considered her his sister. Yan Xun knew what she was going to say. Some words, once spoken, would only make both of them more awkward. Upon hearing Yan Xun's words, Chun'er immediately realized that she had been deluding herself all these days.

Yuwen Huai entered the palace overnight last night, claiming that a divine omen had descended upon Four Treasures Mountain: a giant pine tree had grown on a strange rock, and he wanted to take the Emperor to see it. When they reached the moat, the Emperor heard a commotion outside. A group of villagers were pushing a yellow stone past them.

The Emperor personally saw large characters written on the yellow stone: "Emperor of Wei will perish, Yan will rule the world." After returning to the palace, the Emperor urgently summoned the powerful figures of several noble clans to discuss the matter. Wei Guang of the Wei clan believed it was a trick by treacherous people. Everyone else followed his lead, but only Yuwen Huai directly pointed to Northern Yan. His words perfectly matched the Emperor's intentions. In fact, summoning these ministers was not to discuss anything, but rather to get them to provide a legitimate reason to deal with Marquis Northen Settler.
