Amidst this crisis, several staff members, including Yaling and Anna, resign out of fear of losing their jobs, believing "the old Bai Haoyu is back" due to his seemingly harsh demeanor. Lin Yimu also departs, leading colleagues to suspect he has found a better opportunity elsewhere.
Zhu Ying encourages the remaining staff to stay united and persistent, highlighting "Eternal"'s promising collaboration with "Fashion Garden." Li Huizhen learns the truth behind Bai Haoyu's severe actions: he deliberately pushed staff away so they could find new jobs before "Eternal" might be shut down, sparing them the guilt of leaving a failing magazine.
