Meanwhile, Gu Yanzhi walked into Li Zhicheng's office with good news: Aida had successfully secured the Mingsheng Group order. He elaborated that while the advance payment would help, Aida still needed a significant sum for the initial phase, suggesting a bank loan under the "One Belt One Road Initiative" projects. He reminded Li Zhicheng that her current contract was only for the initial design phase. Li Zhicheng confidently declared that he would ensure she stayed with Aida. Later, at the H Group fashion salon, Li Zhicheng encountered Ning Weikai and Chen Zheng by the elevator. Li Zhicheng directly accused Ning Weikai of sending someone to infiltrate Aida's design studio. Ning Weikai dismissed it as a baseless accusation, asking for evidence.
Chen Zheng stepped in, but Li Zhicheng ignored him, instead patting Chen Zheng's shoulder and advising him to "stay away from your brother Kai." After Li Zhicheng left, Chen Zheng complained to Ning Weikai about being led into Li Zhicheng's trap regarding the Japanese fabric deal. Ning Weikai calmly deflected blame, claiming he learned of the trap too late, and reminded Chen Zheng that their mutual enemy was Aida's Li Zhicheng, urging them to unite.
As Lin Qian prepared her designs at the salon, Chen Zheng approached her. Lin Qian politely but firmly declined his offer, stating she had no "money problems." Meanwhile, Grace introduced Li Zhicheng to President Cheng Feng of Ankada Airlines.

Cheng Feng praised Zhang Siyao's design for its "European high-end brands' feeling" and elegance. He then bid 400,000 yuan for Zhang Siyao's dress, setting a new record. Li Zhicheng seized the opportunity, revealing Ankada would soon open bids for their new uniforms and asking if she was willing to take on the challenge. He promised a 20% raise and a long-term contract. Lin Qian enthusiastically agreed to undertake the design, even without the raise, committed to proving herself. Li Zhicheng proposed a five-year contract. Lin Qian found "5 years" to be a long time.
Li Zhicheng playfully responded that "a lifetime is a long time," asking if she was selling herself. Lin Qian playfully declined, to which Li Zhicheng responded, "Don't let me wait too long." Meanwhile, Chen Zheng returned home and confidently told his father that Simeiqi was determined to win the Ankada project. This comparison visibly annoyed Chen Zheng, though he admitted underestimating Li Zhicheng in the past, he vowed there wouldn't be a "second time." At Aida, Li Zhicheng had noticed Gu Yanzhi acting mysteriously and being frequently absent. He then received an official "Transfer Order" from Wenda headquarters for Gu Yanzhi, prompting him to call Gu Yanzhi into his office for a discussion.
