Hao Zeyu himself had previously seen online news that made him question if he truly had bipolar disorder, even considering medication.
Niu Meili meticulously reviewed work offers and selected an interview program for Hao Zeyu, ostensibly to discuss his ten years since participating in a talent show. Hao Zeyu, wanting to be independent, told Fu Zi he would go alone. Nevertheless, on the day of the recording, Fu Zi's father drove him, much to Hao Zeyu's annoyance, though he secretly feared sensitive questions might arise that would upset them.
Fu Zi's father initially stayed in the car at the television station, but then, worried, he quietly followed Hao Zeyu and sat in the audience. The interview began smoothly with questions about his talent show experiences. However, the host soon introduced sharp questions related to Teng Dan, online attacks against Hao Zeyu, his relationship with Teng Dan, and the alleged bipolar disorder diagnosis. The host urged Hao Zeyu to clarify these matters for the audience.
Hao Zeyu remained silent, prompting the host to angrily halt the recording. Privately, the host admonished Hao Zeyu, instructing him on how to navigate the entertainment industry and even advising him to cry on camera if he wished to avoid answering certain questions, or to kneel for sympathy. When the recording resumed, the host continued to press Hao Zeyu on his behavior at Teng Dan's funeral, including why he removed her portrait and why he smiled.

Fu Zi's father, to explain Hao Zeyu's presence in the passenger seat with his cap pulled low, joked that Hao Zeyu was his son who had suffered a high fever as a child and whose brain wasn't quite right, leaving Hao Zeyu speechless. They encountered people busy with work, some weeping over love, others concerned about their children's schooling.
By the end of the day, Hao Zeyu had a profound realization: everyone in the world lives with their own struggles and imperfections. He had once felt his own difficulties were unique but now saw himself as overly sentimental, understanding that life requires everyone to persevere. Later, Fu Zi's father took Hao Zeyu to eat stewed offal, chatting lively with old taxi driver friends and the restaurant owner.
As they ate, Hao Zeyu shared his insights into the industry, recalling a time when he practiced dancing day and night in a studio until he fainted, illustrating that not everyone in entertainment lives a glamorous life, with many working hard behind the scenes. Fu Zi's father later gave a grateful, sobered, drunken passenger a packed portion of the stewed offal.
Niu Meili then arranged for Hao Zeyu to participate in a Roadshow, and notably included Fu Zi's father in the travel arrangements. This was because the production team had allocated resources for a four-person team, including first-class plane tickets, which Niu Meili did not want to waste. After making these arrangements, Niu Meili hurriedly packed to attend Ren Jiajia's parent-teacher conference. Ren Jiajia smiled shyly upon seeing her.
At the conference, the parent of Yu Dandan (whom Ren Jiajia had previously hit) confronted Niu Meili in front of other parents and the homeroom teacher. This parent accused Ren Jiajia of negatively influencing her child's studies and listed several of her alleged misdeeds, also asking the homeroom teacher to move her child away from Jiajia. Niu Meili, exasperated, retorted sharply, leading to a loud argument that quickly escalated into a physical fight, which the homeroom teacher was unable to stop in time.
