Nan Xing woke up to find herself wrapped like a rice dumpling. Lu Zichen couldn’t sleep and had symptoms of low blood sugar, so Xiao Wudi reluctantly made breakfast for him. Nan Xing rushed over to have breakfast with Xiao Wudi. He also worried that telling Nan Xing might make him disappear again. Lu Zichen asked Xiao Wudi for help with his murder mystery plot, and Xiao Wudi casually said he’d use poison. Lu Zichen thought that was a great idea. Xiao Wudi wanted to get along with Nan Xing and felt his answer hadn’t satisfied her mother. She thanked Ye Qing and messaged her, hoping she would return to the company. Ye Qing was touched and sent Lu Zichen a message, saying she was happy he stuck to his dream. Lu Zichen recalled how Ye Qing had always been the one encouraging him. Nan Xing’s novel was about to surpass Lu Zichen’s in views. Seeing netizens praising the male lead, Xiao Wudi prepared a special dinner for her and publicly celebrated.

At the restaurant, Nan Xing suddenly saw sparks and had a seizure. Xiao Wudi quickly protected her and took her to the lounge. Looking at her condition, he vowed to find a way to cure her illness.
