Mr. Bad Episode 11 Recap
> Mr. Bad Recap
Nan Xing carried Xiao Wudi home. He pretended to be weak and running a high fever. When Nan Xing mentioned taking him to the hospital, he manipulated his internal energy to lower his body temperature. Nan Xing needed to get back to work, but Xiao Wudi, not wanting her to leave, acted feeble to keep her by his side. Believing him, Nan Xing fed him porridge and stayed at his bedside until he fell asleep.
After Xiao Wudi fell asleep, Nan Xing tucked him in. The next morning, she cooked porridge for him, and her mom caught her. Learning Xiao Wudi was sick, Nan Xing’s mom came over to care for him. Xiao Wudi, lively in his room, had planned for Nan Xing to stay and keep him company, but she called her mom for backup.
Xiao Wudi pretended to be pitiful, saying he’d had health issues since childhood and only good moods could heal him. Nan Xing thought about it and called her mom over too. Xiao Wudi felt his plan backfired. At work, Nan Xing saw Lu Zichen waiting for her and knew she was in for another lecture.
Sure enough, Lu Zichen called her to his office and, pretending it was about his "friend," talked about trying to create chance encounters with Ye Qing but with no success. He wanted more advice. Nan Xing found it odd—they only met during work. She told him his friend should think from Ye Qing’s perspective and ask if she even had free time outside of work. Lu Zichen had a sudden realization.
While working, Nan Xing worried about Xiao Wudi and messaged him but got no reply. At home, Xiao Wudi was being cared for by Nan Xing’s mom—constantly drinking hot water or being bundled up. Burning hot, Xiao Wudi had to hide in the bathroom with a fan. Nan Xing’s mom thought he was constipated and handed him a bottle of laxative. After work, Nan Xing rushed home to check on Xiao Wudi and make porridge.
Upon arriving, she learned he was already better. Xiao Wudi couldn’t take it anymore and decided to stop faking illness. Nan Xing delivered the porridge, then hurried to her room to think about her novel. Xiao Wudi decided to try a new trick—he cut the electricity at Nan Xing’s house. She checked multiple times but couldn’t find the cause. Xiao Wudi secretly rejoiced and invited Nan Xing and her mom to stay at his place.
Nan Xing’s mom didn’t mind—it was her house anyway. Xiao Wudi prepared the guest room and rushed Nan Xing’s mom off to freshen up, trying to get alone time with Nan Xing. But Nan Xing’s mom didn’t want to sleep and suggested the three play cards. Nan Xing and her mom had a great time. Xiao Wudi, on the other hand, couldn’t grasp the game’s strategy—being from ancient times, he found it incomprehensible.
He ended up with his face covered in sticky notes but refused to give up, planning other ways to make Nan Xing stay. The next morning, Xiao Wudi cooked breakfast and was praised by Nan Xing’s mom. Nan Xing wanted to contact the electric company and move back home. They couldn’t find the problem and said they’d need to tear down walls to check. They had no idea it was Xiao Wudi’s doing.
He asked them to stay a few more days until the power came back. Nan Xing wanted to watch a romance movie with her mom, but Xiao Wudi got ahead of her. He had already bought tickets for Nan Xing’s mom and Sisi to another movie, so Nan Xing had to watch with him. At the theater, he bought a couple’s popcorn set, trying to create a romantic atmosphere.
But Nan Xing swooned over the male lead in the film, and Xiao Wudi felt invisible beside her. After the movie, Xiao Wudi insisted they watch another—this time, a cartoon to prevent her from fangirling again. Unexpectedly, Nan Xing fell asleep leaning on his shoulder. Xiao Wudi’s heart pounded, and even long after the cartoon ended, he didn’t wake her—not until a janitor came in to clean. On the way home, Nan Xing vented about being busy and annoyed lately.
Xiao Wudi learned she was struggling to write her novel and encouraged her to write about how they met. Nan Xing, recalling all the times Xiao Wudi bullied her, thought it would make an interesting story.
