The clever and cunning Xiao Wudi just came into this world, he threatened and blackmailed Nan Xing to live next door to her house, and they started a funny neighborhood life.

As Xiao Wudi was brought to the world by Nan Xing’s wish, whenever Nan Xing was in need of help, Xiao Wudi would be automatically summoned to her side.

The two people from different worlds started a “battle of wits” in real life.

In order to find a way to return to the original world, Xiao Wudi decided to help Nan Xing realize her wish to find true love first.

Nan Xing, who is passionate about writing novels and also quite a lovestruck narcissist, is walking home alone when she encounters a stranger trying to strike up a conversation. The man wants to go with Nan Xing to a book signing event but ends up witnessing her brave act of justice, which scares him off in a hurry. She hurriedly returns to Xianzi Spring, trying to figure out the whole situation. Xiao Wudi appears beside her in a flash and demands that she send him back, guessing she must have triggered something that brought him here.

Nan Xing reflects and remembers she wished for unforgettable love. Xiao Wudi learns that she met him in a dream and tells her to throw the coin into the spring to send him back. However, nothing happens. He then tells her to lie down and dream again. In her dream, she meets the fortune teller, who calls himself Zhen Xianzi and admits that Xiao Wudi was created for Nan Xing.

Furious, she demands that Zhen Xianzi take Xiao Wudi back—she doesn’t want a villain boyfriend. Zhen Xianzi advises her to cherish Xiao Wudi and sends her back to reality. Just as Nan Xing is about to give up hope, she sees a figure in the distance—Xiao Wudi appears and takes down the assailants.
