> Miss The Dragon Recap

After completing her third life in the imperial palace, Miss Ayu arrived at the River of Tears. There, she met Yuchi Longyan, who revealed that she was, in fact, Liuying, the girl he had always loved. He explained they were the same person—she had been Liuying long ago, then Ayu, and he was the Dragon King she had known.

Just as she learned the truth of her past, Ayu was urged to drink the Eight Tears Drink to erase her memories. Unwilling to forget Longyan, she recalled her fear of the palace and her wish to be with him. Feigning nervousness, she asked them not to watch her and pretended to drink the potion, secretly pouring it out.

In her heart, she vowed to Longyan that she would not forget him and would now be the master of her own fate. Liuying was reborn into a general’s household and named Feng Chenyue. Her father was overjoyed at her birth, playfully correcting his deputy, Uncle Zhao, who had called her an "heir" and instead affirmed her potential as a heroine.

Chenyue grew up to be the opposite of a refined lady, preferring swords and spears and becoming even more martial than the men around her. Following her late father’s wishes, she took command as general, defending the border against the Dongluo invaders. During a martial arts tournament, Chenyue promoted the skilled Gao Yang to Chiliarch and, while punishing another contestant for his lack of restraint, she also recognized his tenacity by making him a Deputy Chiliarch.

Afterward, she stood before her father’s memorial, vowing to repel the Dongluo and bring peace. Unseen, Longyan watched over her, silently pledging to help her achieve her goals, reaffirming his promise to always remember and find her. While sharing a meal with her soldiers, Chenyue was chastised by Uncle Zhao for her informal behavior. She retorted that in the Feng Army, there were only soldiers, not a "Lady Feng," especially while the Dongluo threat remained.

She then caught several soldiers reading a contraband book, "An Evilly Charming Dragon King's Requital." Citing her father’s rule that such books undermined morale, she confiscated it but pardoned the soldiers after they admitted their mistake. Later, Qing Qing tried to convince Chenyue to use hand cream, arguing that women should groom themselves to attract a husband.

Chenyue rejected this, asserting that women dress up for their own happiness and that with her father’s wish unfulfilled, she had no time for romance. She added that any man who truly loved her would accept her as she is. After Qing Qing left, Chenyue secretly began reading the confiscated novel herself. In her room, Qing Qing struggled with her makeup, poking her forehead in frustration.

This caused Xue Qianxun, who had linked them with a Body-Sharing Spell, to feel her pain and instantly appear. Startled, and forgetting for a moment that she was a spirit herself, Qing Qing mistook him for a ghost. Xue Qianxun explained the spell, confessing that he was pursuing her. Seeing her shock, he quickly backtracked, claiming their closeness was due to her being his former personal maid.

Qing Qing dismissed his confession as a joke but agreed to his request to call him by his name, Xue Qianxun, and asked for his help with her makeup. Chenyue prepared to meet the new Military Supervisor, Lu Zheng. Upon his arrival, she was initially annoyed by his intense gaze, but was surprised when he revealed himself to be her childhood friend, "Brother Zheng." As they reconnected, Lu Zheng noticed the scandalous novel on her desk.

Chenyue claimed she had confiscated it from her soldiers and stopped him from burning it. After he left, she began to read it, curious as to how it could undermine morale. In his quarters, Lu Zheng reminisced about their first meeting ten years prior, when a young Chenyue climbed a tree to give him fruit and then a flower.

He had corrected her, telling her to call him "Brother Zheng," and he still treasured the preserved flower, glad their bond remained. Worried by reports that Dongluo soldiers were massacring civilians, Chenyue discussed the situation with Uncle Zhao. They learned of strange behavior in the enemy camp: the Dongluo Crown Prince, a man known for his love of luxury, had suddenly stopped his daily habit of eating roast deer.

Suspecting he had secretly left the camp, Chenyue ordered a full alert and dispatched scouts to find him. As they strategized, Lu Zheng noticed a labyrinth casket in Chenyue’s hand. She explained it was a gift from an old friend that helped her think clearly. That night, holding the casket, Chenyue dreamed of Longyan, murmuring the name "Yuchi" as she searched for him among countless soldiers but could not find him.
