Zhi Xiu assured Hong Yuan that the medicine was for anti-aging, not revealing its full nature. He offered to prescribe other remedies for her, as he noticed her often frowning, but Hong Yuan, a martial arts practitioner, declined. Their intimate moment was interrupted by the arrival of Prince Lan, also known as Lan Xia, who recognized Zhi Xiu. Su Mo confronted Bai Lin, revealing that Bai Ying had discovered the medicine and was worried.

Bai Lin was furious, accusing Su Mo of telling her older sister. She then disclosed her secret to Su Mo: as a bird spirit, she needs to absorb weak water to live, but refuses to harm other living beings. To avoid turning into a demoness, she chose to consume the medicine, which would cause her to gradually age and wither until death.

She pleaded with Su Mo not to tell Bai Ying the full truth, as her sister still saw her as an innocent girl. Bai Lin's plan was to find a place to die alone on the second day of the Flower God Festival, which was her birthday. Su Mo, concerned for Bai Ying's distress, decided to help Bai Lin. Later that night, after Bai Ying had fallen asleep, Bai Lin secretly slipped out to meet Su Mo.

Bai Ying, awake and curious, followed her, only to discover Bai Lin meeting Su Mo. To Bai Ying's surprise, Su Mo was refining medicine for Bai Lin's injuries. Bai Lin expressed her amazement that Su Mo, despite her past hatred and actions against him, bore no ill will. She realized then why Bai Ying had always loved him.

Bai Lin entrusted Su Mo with a powerful spellbook, but warned him that the "Sea Oath of the Star Soul" spell within it, though capable of defying life and death, could severely harm him if he practiced it. Bai Lin regretted that some incantations were missing from the book, meaning Su Mo would have to find the rest himself.

Meanwhile, Bai Ying, heartbroken by the sight of Bai Lin and Su Mo together, mistakenly believed Su Mo had fallen in love with her younger sister. She reflected on her own forgotten feelings for Su Mo, wondering if she could ever love him again, and went to the lake to cry. Zhen Lan, unable to sleep, found her.

Sensing her sorrow for Su Mo, he advised her that it was impossible to hide love and that, after all they had experienced, they must be true to and face their feelings. Zhen Lan's words brought Bai Ying some comfort. The next day, Su Mo went to check on Bai Lin, who had not appeared for her nightly healing. He found her extremely weak and bedridden, expressing that she could not make it anymore.

Su Mo immediately began to treat her. Bai Ying soon arrived, realizing the gravity of her sister's condition. She confronted Su Mo about hiding the truth, but Su Mo explained that Bai Lin had been concealing her illness to spend her birthday with Bai Ying. When Bai Ying questioned the medicine, Su Mo stated it was to maintain her appearance.

Bai Ying was overcome with guilt and helplessness, lamenting her inability to protect her loved one or help Bai Lin transform from a bird spirit into a human. She was deeply saddened, knowing Bai Lin’s deepest wish was to attend the Flower God Festival. Su Mo, hearing this, resolved to create a Flower God Festival for Bai Lin right where they were.

Na Sheng expressed her sadness over Bai Lin's impending death to Yan Xi, but found him distant and impatient. She questioned if he still cared for her, reminding him that he was reborn for her and could only love her in his lifetime. Yan Xi confirmed her words, but was clearly troubled; secretly under the influence of Cangliu magic, he was nearly compelled to attack her.

Na Sheng, sensing his strange behavior but unaware of the magical control, dismissed her concerns for the moment. Su Mo prepared a special wishing plaque for Bai Lin. Bai Ying presented it to her sister after Su Mo, with the help of magic, transformed their surroundings into a beautiful Flower God Festival, complete with fireworks. As they watched the display, Na Sheng was overjoyed, but Yan Xi remained noticeably quiet and aloof.

Under the enchanting night sky, Bai Lin made her final, heartfelt wish. Moments later, she vanished from Bai Ying's side. Bai Ying picked up the wishing plaque Bai Lin had left behind, which bore a single wish: for Bai Ying and Su Mo to live happily ever after. After Bai Lin's funeral, Bai Ying, though still missing many memories, realized she had fallen in love with Su Mo again through his constant companionship.

Encouraged by Zhen Lan, she sought out Su Mo and confessed her renewed feelings, telling him that despite her memory loss, she wanted to cherish him and not dwell on the past. Su Mo affirmed that he heard her clearly and would never fail her. Meanwhile, Yu Huan told Yu Zhu that he had to go to Jiuyi Mountain to confirm if a strange barrier he discovered there, accessible only to Kongsang royalty, led to Wuse City.

He intended to use this information to negotiate with Zhi Zhe for a complete cure for his Quanxian blood pact. Yu Zhu urged him to simply flee and live a peaceful life together, but Yu Huan was determined, arguing they could never escape the pursuit of the Five Masters and that true freedom could only be attained through power. Shi Peng, having ordered Yu Huan's death on sight, was then confronted by Shi Lang, who inquired about Yu Huan's capture.

Shi Peng subtly accused Shi Lang of involvement, as Yu Huan had escaped from his residence. Shi Lang questioned Zhi Zhe's apparent disinterest in recent rebellions and his favoritism towards Yu Huan. Shi Peng asserted that Zhi Zhe had elevated Yu Huan, effectively sidelining the Five Masters. He proposed that their opportunity would arise only if Zhi Zhe, Yu Huan, Kongsang, and Quanxian were to clash, allowing the Five Masters to eliminate them all.

Shi Lang agreed to join this scheme. At Jiuyi Mountain, Yu Huan found the barrier and attempted to shatter it with his Sword of Light, but the barrier proved too strong. On the other side, High Priest and Zhen Lan detected the disturbance caused by Yu Huan's attack. High Priest immediately cast a spell to counter it, while Zhi Zhe observed their confrontation unfolding in a water mirror.
