Han Qilu stood waiting at his home's entrance for An Chuxia, largely ignoring the many guests who offered him birthday wishes and gifts. Mo Xinwei presented him with a gift she had personally chosen, but Han Qilu appeared preoccupied, asking why An Chuxia had not yet arrived since she lived there. Meanwhile, An Chuxia and Ling Hanyu were elsewhere, discussing a gift An Chuxia had made.
Ling Hanyu commented that it must be the best gift Han Qilu would ever receive and asked if she could make one for him too. An Chuxia readily agreed, saying she could do it anytime. As the party was about to begin, the butler approached Han Qilu, pointing out that Ling Hanyu and An Chuxia had not yet appeared. Han Qilu simply stated he could wait, dismissing the suggestion to start without them. Eventually, Ling Hanyu and An Chuxia arrived.
The butler remarked that Han Qilu had been worried and waiting for a long time, but Han Qilu quickly retorted, claiming he hadn't been waiting for them at all. Han Qilu then delivered a brief opening speech, thanking everyone for attending. He spoke of people walking into and out of his world like stars falling and new ones appearing, before thanking a "Sis Yuan Yuan" and "you who have come into my world."
After the speech, he immediately approached An Chuxia, asking what kind of gift she had for him. An Chuxia stated she would give it to him at the end of the party, to which Han Qilu feigned indifference, saying she didn't need to prepare anything for him. To liven up the party, a guest named Wanzi suggested playing "Truth or Dare." She and Mo Xinwei decided this was an opportune moment to target An Chuxia.
An Chuxia was initially reluctant to join, but she was provoked by comments that suggested she was afraid to play because she was a maid. The game began, with Mo Xinwei choosing "Truth" and answering a trivial question about green peppers. When it was An Chuxia's turn, she chose "Dare." Her challenge was to kiss a person of the opposite sex.
Ling Hanyu seemed hopeful, but Mo Xinwei immediately challenged An Chuxia to kiss Han Qilu, daring her to prove she wasn't a coward. After taking a drink, An Chuxia boldly accepted the challenge and kissed Han Qilu. Next, it was Han Qilu's turn. He initially chose "Dare" but was persuaded to pick "Truth." Since An Chuxia had won the previous round, she was chosen to ask him a question.
She asked about a person whose name people couldn't bring themselves to say when they spoke of him. This question clearly angered Han Qilu, who denied knowing the person. Ling Hanyu attempted to calm the situation, suggesting that An Chuxia hadn't meant any harm and that Han Qilu should forgive her if he had truly forgotten the person. But Han Qilu, fuming, stormed away from the game. An Chuxia was upset, wondering why Han Qilu had suddenly become so angry.
Mo Xinwei approached her, feigning sympathy and claiming that Han Qilu's anger stemmed from three specific taboos, implying this person was one of them. An Chuxia, feeling responsible, expressed her desire to apologize to him. Mo Xinwei then "helped" by suggesting An Chuxia sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" for Han Qilu, claiming it was a very important song to him and would surely make him happy.
Meanwhile, Ling Hanyu found Han Qilu and tried to convince him to forgive An Chuxia. Although Han Qilu had already forgiven An Chuxia in his heart, he outwardly stated she would have to come and beg him in person. As Ling Hanyu continued to try and persuade Han Qilu, the melody of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" began to drift into the room. An Chuxia, singing the song, approached Han Qilu to apologize.
However, he angrily confronted her, demanding to know why she had sung that specific song and stating she didn't deserve to. He questioned if someone had put her up to it. An Chuxia, confused by his reaction, looked towards Mo Xinwei, who quickly denied any involvement, claiming she would never do anything to upset him. Ling Hanyu then intervened, exposing Mo Xinwei's hypocrisy by revealing that she was the one who had asked An Chuxia to sing the song.
An Chuxia, outraged by Mo Xinwei's betrayal, moved to confront her. As Han Qilu attempted to intervene in the escalating argument, An Chuxia was accidentally pushed into the water. Seeing her fall, Ling Hanyu immediately jumped in to help An Chuxia out of the pool. Han Qilu's aunt rushed over, demanding to know what happened to An Chuxia, but An Chuxia could only say she didn't know.
Ling Hanyu tried to explain that his aunt couldn't blame Han Qilu, but Han Qilu, furious, cut him off. He then declared the party over and angrily ordered everyone to leave. As the guests departed, Han Qilu sat alone at the piano, lost in thought, recalling a beautiful woman from a church.
