Synopsis
Xiao Qiao, a daughter of the Qiao family, who marries Wei Shao in order to resolve a long-standing family feud. However, due to the generational enmity between their families, she is sent back to Youzhou the day after their wedding and is not allowed to enter the ancestral temple. Amidst family conflicts and obstacles created by Wei Shao's former lover, Su Ehuang, the two go through numerous hardships. Eventually, Wei Shao lets go of his hatred and embarks on a journey to win back his wife.
