However, upon learning Han Qilu would also be there, she hesitated. Meng Xiaonan, sensing An Chuxia's conflict, urged her to go, viewing it as a chance to counter Xiang Mankui's schemes. Jiang Chenchuan, meanwhile, was still trying to win An Chuxia's affection.
His friend showed him a poster for the Pinkston Youth Design Competition, sponsored by Jiang's Group. Recognizing An Chuxia's passion for design, Jiang Chenchuan saw an opportunity to use his family's influence to ensure her victory, disregarding any potential opposition from Mo Xinwei. He vowed to remove any obstacles in An Chuxia's path. Later, Han Qilu stopped An Chuxia in the hallway, questioning her avoidance. He invited her to dinner with him and Xiang Mankui.

She confirmed submitting her registration form the previous day, a fact corroborated by Ming Yue who recalled seeing the wet form. However, Teacher You Tian insisted the system processed forms correctly and couldn't have made a mistake. Meng Xiaonan immediately suspected Mo Xinwei of maliciously taking An Chuxia's form out of jealousy. An Chuxia, trying to calm Meng Xiaonan, stated she didn't truly want to participate anyway. Han Qilu overheard this.
Mo Xinwei vehemently denied the accusation, arguing that her father's involvement in the competition gave her no reason to sabotage An Chuxia. To prove her innocence, Mo Xinwei and Wan Zi searched Class B for the missing form. Surprisingly, Wan Zi found An Chuxia's form tucked inside Xiang Mankui's book.
