Ding Yunqi, Wu Shuang, and their companions arrived at the desolate Mountain-moving Town. Wu Shuang expressed her bewilderment, remarking, "Why is there no one in this town? It's so strange." Ding Yunqi explained that the Mountain-moving Sect once resided there. He recounted rumors of the town being haunted, leading everyone to disappear overnight, leaving no trace. This explanation unnerved Wu Shuang, who asked if it could be true.

Sun Sanxuan quickly interjected, telling Wu Shuang and San Jin not to believe Ding Yunqi's scare tactics. He clarified that the entire town was built according to specific feng shui principles by generations of the Mountain-moving Sect, and the tales of ghosts and gods were merely gimmicks to deter outsiders after their whereabouts were exposed. Reassured, Wu Shuang continued to walk cautiously, and Ding Yunqi took the opportunity to grab her hand. San Jin, watching them, commented on her timidness.

Upon entering the town, Ding Yunqi decided they would stay at the Mountain-moving Inn. Chu Fengling, feeling left in the dark about their plans, expressed her dissatisfaction to Luo Yunsong. Luo Yunsong, however, advised her to trust Ding Yunqi, seeing this journey as a test for them, and emphasized that Ding Yunqi had brought them all this way. Meanwhile, Ding Yunqi took Wu Shuang to a viewpoint overlooking the Yufeng Palace, the headquarters of the Mountain-moving Sect.

He explained that the town was a prime location for feng shui, with nine dragon veins converging to form a powerful array. He revealed that Yufeng Palace was their destination, as he planned to visit the altar there with Wu Shuang. When Wu Shuang hesitated, Ding Yunqi slyly suggested he would take Sun Sanxuan instead.

Sun Sanxuan eagerly agreed, but San Jin quickly pulled him aside, explaining that Ding Yunqi was just trying to get Wu Shuang to go with him. Later, Chu Fengling approached Wu Shuang and Ding Yunqi, suggesting Wu Shuang share a room with her. However, San Jin promptly called Wu Shuang away to inspect the hammock he had set up for her. Undeterred, Chu Fengling offered coffee to Ding Yunqi, then inquired about their next steps.

Ding Yunqi reiterated his plan to visit Yufeng Palace with Wu Shuang the following day. Chu Fengling immediately requested to join, but Ding Yunqi firmly refused, citing the palace's dangerous mechanisms. He explained that Wu Shuang, being from the Mound-digging Sect, had relevant skills, but he feared he couldn't protect a larger group. Chu Fengling reluctantly accepted his decision. Separately, He Biao reported to Luo Yunsong that a team of over 20 unidentified individuals had been secretly following them.

Luo Yunsong, after asking about their weapons, moved to order the Black Feather Team to intercept them. Ding Yunqi intervened, stating that if their identity was unknown, any investigation would be futile. Sun Sanxuan then confessed that the followers were his own men. He explained that he had arranged for them to shadow the group as a precaution, fearing Luo Yunsong might have ill intentions towards Ding Yunqi since Luo Yunsong had brought the Black Feather Team.

Ding Yunqi dismissed his concerns as unnecessary. Luo Yunsong then instructed He Biao to inform the Black Feather Team that Sun Sanxuan's men were allies and they should assist each other if any situation arose. Ding Yunqi and Wu Shuang proceeded to Yufeng Palace. Wu Shuang was amazed by the entrance, the Renyi Gate, which appeared to be made of wood but was reinforced with cast iron. Ding Yunqi explained its significance, representing benevolence and righteousness.

He also mentioned the path leading to it, "Mu Xia Shui," which offered only a slim chance of survival. Wu Shuang questioned how he knew all this, and Ding Yunqi revealed it was part of the Ding Family's mandatory childhood lessons on the Penta-sect's mechanisms. Wu Shuang then shared that her master had made only her memorize "many weird formulas" for future use.

She then correctly applied her knowledge of the Five Elements to deduce the method for opening the gate, much to Ding Yunqi's approval. Inside, Wu Shuang was awestruck by the grand structures. Ding Yunqi explained that one area represented the "Water Needs from Heaven" hexagram, symbolizing the continuous flow of heaven and earth and the Mountain-moving Sect's principle of not forcing matters with power. He then pointed out the statues of the Penta-sect ancestors, including Wu Shuang's Mound-digging ancestor.

Wu Shuang, moved, knelt to pay her respects, inadvertently triggering a mechanism that caused a shrine door to close. Frightened, she worried she had caused trouble. Ding Yunqi reassured her that the door had closed because her worship had activated a specific mechanism, confirming that what he sought was behind that door. Wu Shuang, impressed by his knowledge, asked how he knew so much. He replied that the Mountain-moving Sect had told him.

When he began to elaborate on his contact with them, Wu Shuang quickly stopped him, stating she preferred not to know anything and simply wanted to stay by his side. Ding Yunqi fell silent, seemingly understanding and moved by her desire to remain loyal to him without betraying her master. They then encountered another intricate door, which Ding Yunqi identified as the "Mandarin Duck Nine-grid."

He explained its two layers and complex inner workings, warning that a slight error would permanently lock the door. After his initial attempt triggered a warning, Ding Yunqi realized Wu Shuang's earlier action had altered the mechanisms. He deduced that her master must have taught her about such contraptions. He successfully solved the puzzle, revealing a book containing the secrets of the Mountain-moving Sect.

Wu Shuang instinctively reached for it, but Ding Yunqi stopped her as another trap gave a warning. Ding Yunqi then placed a Heaven Official token into a slot, which disarmed the trap and allowed him to retrieve the book. Instead of taking it, Ding Yunqi read it thoroughly within the chamber, his photographic memory allowing him to absorb its contents before returning it to its place. Wu Shuang remained by his side throughout, intentionally avoiding looking at the book.

Back at the inn, Sun Sanxuan, Luo Yunsong, Chu Fengling, and the others grew worried as an entire morning passed with no sign of Ding Yunqi and Wu Shuang. They decided to go search for them. As they approached Yufeng Palace, San Jin recognized Wu Shuang's distinctive laughter emanating from inside. Realizing they were safe and enjoying themselves, Sun Sanxuan declared there was no need to worry further. Chu Fengling, looking disappointed, turned away with the others.

Inside the palace, Wu Shuang playfully suggested they close all the doors and disrupt the routes so no one else could enter. She then manipulated the mechanisms, causing them to be joyfully whisked through the air. Afterward, she confessed that she had deliberately messed up the passages to prevent anyone from finding the Kunlun Mountains. She explained that finding it would change everything, and they wouldn't be able to enjoy their current state of peace. "

I like the feeling now," she admitted, "There is no conflict or interference, only us two." Ding Yunqi softly replied, "I like it, too." Wu Shuang then gently asked if they could continue this way forever, as Ding Yunqi leaned in closer to her.
