Zhu Yun entered the room and met Hou Ning, saying she knew about his past and had already heard a lot from Li Xun. She wanted to take him to understand Li Xun better. She brought Hou Ning to Li Xun’s rented place. In the room were all the things Hou Ning had once abandoned—Li Xun had neatly placed them on the bed. Zhu Yun even gave Hou Ning the room’s passcode, clearly treating him as the rightful owner.

Hou Ning was moved—only Li Xun had treated him like a real person. With joint efforts from Zhu Yun and Li Xun, Hou Ning decided to join the company Wo Xin Fei Yang. When he arrived, Li Xun introduced him to everyone.

Though people knew Hou Ning had hacked their backend before and were angry, especially Zhang Fang, who was in charge of finances and believed Hou Ning had caused the financial loss, Zhu Yun knew Zhang Fang was only harsh with his words and wouldn't actually give Hou Ning a hard time. Li Xun wasn’t worried about Hou Ning—he was more concerned that Zhang Fang might get bullied.

Sure enough, Zhang Fang kept giving Hou Ning hostile looks, which provoked Hou Ning into taking action. With just a few keystrokes, he hacked Zhang Fang’s computer and played back his video history for everyone to see. Zhang Fang freaked out and yanked the power cord, almost starting a fight. Fortunately, Dong Siyang and Li Xun intervened. Li Xun told Hou Ning he couldn’t play tricks on others anymore.

After the Love Blind Box was developed and promoted, it didn’t perform well. But it caught the attention of Gao Jianhong, who insisted on having someone replicate it. Fang Zhijing tried to talk him out of it, urging him to focus on preparing for the company’s IPO and avoid clashing with Li Xun, lest it backfire. But Gao Jianhong wouldn’t listen and even reminded Fang Zhijing that Li Xun was the one who had caused him to lose his sight.

Li Xun asked Ren Di for help with promotion. When she went to find Xiao Liu, he was too busy entertaining Boss Zhao to record a song. Ren Di got angry and wanted to leave, but a colleague stopped her and explained that Boss Zhao was their record investor. Boss Zhao got angry at Ren Di’s departure and threatened to blacklist her. Though Ren Di didn’t care, Xiao Liu did. He believed that Qinghong without Ren Di had no soul.

He pulled strings, drank with Boss Zhao, and begged him not to blacklist her. Ren Di was touched, and they reconciled. Xiao Liu knew Ren Di disliked socializing, so he always took care of it himself. To her, he seemed unserious, but in truth, he was protecting her. Together, they promoted the game, drawing lots of attention and registrations. The company’s profile rose, and they started doing photo shoots and interviews.

Li Xun revealed his plan to Zhu Yun, Dong Siyang, and Hou Ning: they would deliberately make the Blind Box’s upgrade code complex. He had already grasped Gao Jianhong’s mindset—he wanted to copy the game, but it couldn’t be done in less than six months. Rushing would likely drive him to steal the code, walking right into Li Xun’s trap. During an interview, Li Xun publicly mocked Jili Company for thriving on copy-paste work, calling them insignificant.

Enraged, Gao Jianhong hired hackers from Malaysia to breach Li Xun’s backend—but they were defeated by Hou Ning. Xu Lina, disillusioned by Gao Jianhong’s actions, asked for a divorce. Instead, Gao Jianhong gave her a necklace and expressed his love, begging for another chance. Xu Lina agreed.
