Forget You Remember Love Episode 32 Recap
> Forget You Remember Love Recap
Xu Ziqian was frantically searching for Fan Yunyi. His assistant, Gary, reported that surveillance footage showed Yunyi leaving the hotel alone after the wedding accident. Gary also mentioned that Yunyi's eyes appeared to have recovered. Ziqian ordered him to continue searching. Ye Qianyu called Taichu to apologize for delaying his trip, confirming she would not be accompanying him. Taichu told her, "There's no right or wrong in love, only yes or no," and then offered to meet in person.
When they met, Taichu confessed that he had never stopped for anyone in his life until her. Qianyu thanked him for always understanding her. Taichu expressed that his fantasy of traveling the world with her would now remain just a fantasy.
He then revealed that he was the one who inadvertently led Xu Ziqian to Shan Junhao, explaining that he had rushed back from an important meeting to surprise her at a classmate party, only to see Shan Junhao there and realize his identity, which he then told Ziqian. Qianyu viewed this as fate. He offered to drive her back one last time.
Later, he told her he would temporarily stay to complete the Guanmei Fishing Village project, aiming to create an ideal Guanmei Inn for her. They shared a hug, and he said his goodbyes. Back home, Mama Jinzhi expressed concern for Ye Qianyu's decision, calling her foolish for choosing a difficult path with Shan Junhao, reminiscing about her own past choices to take Qianyu in and pay her father’s debts.
Mama Jinzhi warned Qianyu that being with Shan Junhao would not be easy and urged her to be fully prepared for future difficulties. Qianyu, appreciating her mother's feelings, mentioned Taichu, and Mama Jinzhi acknowledged his generous spirit, believing he would find his own happiness. Mama Jinzhi also suggested Qianyu take over Guanmei Inn, praising her abilities and saying it would make her proud, and joked about helping with deliveries for Money Bag Grocery.
Upon returning home, Mrs. Shan found Fan Yunyi's wedding veil at the doorstep, realizing Yunyi had briefly returned but left again. She immediately called Xu Ziqian. Ziqian furiously confronted Mrs. Shan, demanding to know why no one noticed Yunyi and accusing the Shan family of not truly caring about her feelings, wondering how Yunyi could have the courage to enter after being so heartbroken.
Mrs. Shan was taken aback by Ziqian's uncharacteristically harsh tone, while her housekeeper tried to reassure her. Mrs. Shan, still heartbroken, worried about Yunyi's safety, especially since she was alone and seemingly still blind. Fan Yunyi, wandering disoriented on the street, stopped to listen to a street singer, Xiaoge. When two drunk men harassed Yunyi, Xiaoge intervened and offered her a place to stay. After Yunyi cleaned up and changed, she and Xiaoge talked.
Xiaoge revealed she was an orphan named Xiaoxiao, abandoned at three and raised in an orphanage, expressing no hatred towards her birth parents, grateful for the gift of life. Yunyi then shared her own story, feeling abandoned again, just as she was by her birth parents, now by the Shan family and Shan Junhao, whom she believed would marry her.
Xiaoge, however, told Yunyi she was lucky: her birth mother left her at a wealthy family’s doorstep out of love, and her adoptive family was kind. Xiaoge explained that as an adult, Yunyi was not truly "abandoned" by Shan Junhao, but rather free to pursue new love, suggesting that her feelings for him might be more about dependency than genuine love. Xiaoge offered Yunyi a place to stay for the night.
At the hospital, Xu Ziqian furiously confronted Shan Junhao, accusing him of breaking Fan Yunyi’s heart and never truly considering her feelings. Junhao attempted to explain that his relationship with Yunyi was one of family affection, not romantic love. Ziqian dismissed this, angrily stating that Junhao treated Yunyi like a disposable item and that the entire Shan family never cared what Yunyi truly wanted. Junhao defended himself, explaining the wedding accident was sudden and chaotic.
Ziqian, however, was unconvinced, threatening that if anything happened to Yunyi, he and the Shan family would pay a severe price for their actions. Ye Qianyu brought Shan Junhao pig brain soup, playfully suggesting it would be good for his recovery. Junhao reassured her that they would find Fan Yunyi, taking the blame for the situation himself and trying to cheer Qianyu up. Shortly after, Mrs. Shan, who had arrived to bring food, witnessed Junhao and Qianyu talking and laughing.
Later, Mrs. Shan confronted Qianyu privately, accusing her of causing chaos in the Shan family, leading to Junhao's injury and Yunyi's disappearance. She adamantly declared that Fan Yunyi, despite the uncompleted wedding, remained her only daughter-in-law and threatened Qianyu with consequences if Yunyi was not found. Mrs. Shan sternly warned Qianyu to stay away from Shan Junhao if she truly loved him.
Meanwhile, Xu Ziqian delivered files regarding Shan Yaolong’s past dealings, including a forced equity transfer and a yacht accident, to Xie Quan. Soon after, news broke accusing Shan Yaolong of coercing Xu Yifeng, Ziqian's father, to transfer his shares in Senwell and then orchestrating an explosion on the yacht "Changfeng," a gift from Shan Yaolong, which killed Xu Yifeng and his wife. The report included an audio recording of Shan Yaolong threatening Xu Yifeng.
Shan Junhao, despite his injuries, attempted to leave the hospital to search for Yunyi but was immediately surrounded by reporters demanding answers about his father's alleged crimes and his relationship with Ziqian. Junhao vowed to investigate the matter thoroughly and hold anyone responsible for defamation accountable. He then returned home to confront his mother. Mrs. Shan adamantly defended her late husband, claiming he was not the person portrayed in the news.
She recounted that Xu Yifeng had insisted on investing in a failing company called Dongdao Finance, owned by a friend, against the advice of his partners. This friend later embezzled funds, almost bankrupting Senwell, which led Xu Yifeng to feel remorseful and withdraw from the business. Junhao pointed out that the published recording contradicted her account, and his mother confirmed that the "Changfeng" yacht was indeed a gift from his father to Xu Yifeng. Determined to uncover the truth, Junhao decided to investigate the allegations. Shortly after, Dawei called to inform him that his late father's former assistant wished to meet him.
