Fan Yunyi, recently discharged from the hospital, was still recovering her eyesight but felt much better, as her CT report showed the clot in her brain had mostly dissolved, and she could vaguely see light. Her mother presented her with a beautiful wedding ring, an heirloom passed down four generations, expressing hope that Fan Yunyi would pass it on to her future daughter-in-law.
Her mother encouraged Fan Yunyi not to worry, to be the happiest and prettiest bride, believing she and Shan Junhao would live happily ever after. Fan Yunyi, holding the ring, only wished Shan Junhao would agree to their marriage. Dawei arrived at Shan Junhao's office with a file, which Shan Junhao noted was long overdue.
Dawei explained that after drafting the agreement and submitting it to the finance and legal departments, they repeatedly stalled, and the Administration Department was slow to stamp it, requiring him to rush them multiple times. Dawei hesitantly added that the employees causing these delays were all new hires brought in by Director Xu. Shan Junhao, however, remained firm in his trust, stating that Xu Ziqian had no reason to act in such a manner.
Dawei apologized, suggesting he might have overthought the situation. Shan Junhao, after receiving the document, told Dawei he was going out and would drive himself. Meanwhile, an assistant informed Xu Ziqian that Shan Junhao had pressed the Administration Department to stamp the Guanmei Inn agreement. Xu Ziqian then sought Shan Junhao, asking Dawei if he was in his office. Upon learning Shan Junhao had left without saying where, Xu Ziqian correctly guessed he had gone to Guanmei Fishing Village.
On the eve of his wedding, Shan Junhao arrived at Guanmei Inn, seeking Ye Qianyu. Mama Jinzhi confronted him, reminding him that he was getting married the next day and that Ye Qianyu was planning to leave with Taichu. She firmly told him not to disturb Ye Qianyu's hard-won peaceful life and asked him to leave. Shan Junhao pleaded to see her. Ye Qianyu came down and asked him what he wanted.
He presented her with the "Guanmei Inn Joint Operation Agreement" and asked her to accompany him somewhere, promising it would be their last time together. Mama Jinzhi, deeply concerned, warned Ye Qianyu not to go, fearing they might elope. Shan Junhao persuaded Ye Qianyu to go with him to an amusement park, which was now closed.
He explained that he had seen a photo of her and Tonghao having a lot of fun there, and he thought it would be the best place for them to say their final goodbyes. Ye Qianyu acknowledged it was her first and last date with Tonghao.
Shan Junhao expressed a sudden desire to know all the stories from her time with Tonghao, feeling that even after losing his Tonghao memories, he still fell for her, a connection he described as magic. He couldn't simply let go as Ye Qianyu suggested. Ye Qianyu, however, advised him to let go of what he had forgotten, suggesting it shouldn't become a future burden. Shan Junhao then led her to the merry-go-round, and they rode it one last time.
As they rode, Ye Qianyu silently reflected that the merry-go-round, though romantic, held two people forever in parallel and chasing positions, never to meet. Shan Junhao, for his part, felt that Taichu was right: even if he could abandon Senwell to be with Qianyu, it would only burden her, as people from two different worlds would ultimately struggle to find happiness together. Both silently acknowledged this was their first and last date together, and their final farewell.
Back at Guanmei Inn, Mama Jinzhi, Shengzhe, and Tang Shunming were reading the "Guanmei Inn Joint Operation Agreement," expressing their surprise. Tang Shunming wondered if Shan Junhao truly handed it to him in person. Just then, Taichu arrived, looking for Ye Qianyu to discuss their upcoming trip plans. Mama Jinzhi informed him that Ye Qianyu had gone out with Shan Junhao. Taichu, concerned, decided to wait for her. Later, Taichu reviewed the agreement for Mama Jinzhi and Tang Shunming.
He explained that Senwell would undertake a three-year operation to build a brand new Guanmei Inn, retaining all profits during that period. Tang Shunming and the existing staff would be hired as official employees, receiving normal salaries and bonuses. Crucially, after three years, Senwell would unconditionally transfer full ownership back to Tang Shunming. Taichu pointed out that the agreement offered no apparent benefits to Senwell and was legally binding once Tang Shunming signed it.
Tang Shunming was bewildered, asking if Shan Junhao was essentially returning the inn for free, and pondered whether he had regained his memories as Tonghao. Shengzhe remarked that Shan Junhao had turned back into Tonghao. Mama Jinzhi commented that Shan Junhao seemed to have some conscience, implying he hadn't completely forgotten their kindness. Xu Ziqian returned home, where Mrs. Lin told him Fan Yunyi was upstairs.
He found Fan Yunyi on the phone with Shan Junhao, asking him when he would return, mentioning that Mrs. Lin had prepared all his favorite dishes. Shan Junhao claimed he was out handling business and would return once he finished. Fan Yunyi gently reminded him their wedding was the next day and asked him not to be too late, as she and her mother would worry, assuring him she would wait.
After her call, Xu Ziqian directly told Fan Yunyi that Shan Junhao had lied to her. He pressed her, asking if she still intended to marry him, even knowing Shan Junhao's heart was no longer with her. Fan Yunyi calmly replied that she could forgive him, affirming that marrying Shan Junhao was what she truly desired. Xu Ziqian tried to persuade her to reconsider, emphasizing it was about her "lifetime happiness" and that Shan Junhao did not deserve her sacrifices.
Fan Yunyi insisted she was not sacrificing, but was happy to marry the man she loved most. She then made a heartfelt request, asking Xu Ziqian to walk her down the aisle the next day, as her father was no longer there. Xu Ziqian, after a moment of hesitation, agreed. As he left, his expression was a mix of conflict and deep-seated hatred for the Shan family.
Xu Ziqian later arrived at the wedding venue, where an assistant confirmed that everything was ready. He instructed the assistant to ensure no one got hurt during the preparations. Zhang Minghan also appeared, questioning Xu Ziqian's decision to help Shan Junhao with the wedding preparations and asking if he intended to let the Shan family off the hook. Xu Ziqian tersely told him to stay out of his personal affairs.
Zhang Minghan, observing Xu Ziqian's quiet intensity, remarked that he seemed "calm but in a scary way." Shan Junhao drove Ye Qianyu back to Guanmei Inn. Taichu, who had earlier decided to go look for her, was also on his way. After Shan Junhao left, Ye Qianyu read the agreement more closely and was surprised by its terms. She immediately drove off, trying to catch up with Shan Junhao.
At the village exit, she asked Li Donglu if he had seen a car with the license plate 6A888, which she recognized as Shan Junhao's. Li Donglu confirmed no such car had passed, adding that this was the only road in and out of Guanmei Fishing Village. Just then, Taichu arrived, having come to look for her. He asked what she was doing there.
Ye Qianyu admitted she was waiting for Shan Junhao because she had something more to tell him. Taichu gently reminded her that Shan Junhao was getting married tomorrow and that they themselves were leaving the country. He suggested they should simply accept the agreement as Shan Junhao's final gift to Guanmei Fishing Village. Ye Qianyu agreed and decided to go home with Taichu. Moments after Ye Qianyu and Taichu left, Shan Junhao's car arrived at the same checkpoint.
Li Donglu informed him that Ye Qianyu had been waiting for him there for a long time but had just left with Taichu. Shan Junhao asked where she was now, and Li Donglu repeated that she had gone back with Taichu. Immediately after this, Shan Junhao received a call from Dawei, who excitedly reported that they had found out who leaked Ye Qianyu's information to the media. Shan Junhao quickly instructed him to discuss it in person later and drove off, presumably to investigate the matter.
