Xu Ziqian implemented a significant personnel change at Senwell, replacing many senior staff members with new, younger elites he had personally recruited and interviewed. He justified this by stating that these new hires, while earning 30% less, were just as capable as their older counterparts and would inject more vitality into the company while reducing labor costs. He also claimed the senior employees had grown arrogant, irresponsible, and were hindering the company's growth.
Although Shan Junhao trusted Xu Ziqian’s judgment in hiring, he still privately instructed Dawei to conduct background checks on all the new recruits. Dawei later confirmed that the new employees were indeed industry elites, but he expressed concern that placing so many newcomers in key positions might destabilize the company. Shan Junhao dismissed these worries, emphasizing Xu Ziqian's reliability but still asked Dawei to monitor employee morale.
Meanwhile, Zhang Minghan, having learned of Xu Ziqian's actions, visited him to propose an alliance. Zhang Minghan observed that Xu Ziqian's moves, seemingly replacing Zhang's old allies, had actually removed Shan Junhao's people. He suggested that if they joined forces, they could dethrone Shan Junhao, allowing Xu Ziqian to reclaim his shares and Zhang Minghan to regain his general manager position. Xu Ziqian, however, outwardly rejected any cooperation, stating he "never takes sides."
Zhang Minghan countered that Xu Ziqian’s actions already spoke louder than words, arguing that their combined efforts were the only way to effectively undermine Shan Junhao, especially since a past recording only proved verbal coercion, not illegal activity, regarding Xu Ziqian's father's shares. He also reminded Xu Ziqian that he would soon be reinstated at the company and that Xu Ziqian would eventually need his help.
The Guanmei Fishing Village geared up for its first Tourism and Culture Festival, largely thanks to Taichu, who had invited many of his friends. The Guanmei Inn staff were bustling with preparations. Princess Snow, who had agreed to attend, arrived with a dismissive attitude, stating she was "only here for the meteor shower." Despite her cold demeanor, Taichu and Ye Qianyu warmly welcomed her.
Their efforts paid off when Princess Snow later went live, showcasing Guanmei Inn as the "best viewing place" for the "huge Taurus meteor shower" to her followers, thus achieving their goal of promoting the village. As the meteor shower event approached, Fan Yunyi called Shan Junhao to remind him of their 2 PM appointment to try on wedding gowns and suits with his mother, and also to ask him to dinner to watch the meteor shower.
Shan Junhao, remembering Ye Qianyu's invitation to the Guanmei event, felt conflicted but couldn't refuse Fan Yunyi directly. Instead, he told Fan Yunyi to wait with his mother while he spoke to Dawei. He then dispatched Dawei to Guanmei Fishing Village to "inspect" the festival and prevent any "trouble," emphasizing that Guanmei Inn belonged to Senwell.
When Dawei arrived at Guanmei, he informed Ye Qianyu that Shan Junhao was busy trying on wedding clothes with Fan Yunyi, which left Ye Qianyu feeling visibly disappointed despite her outward cheerfulness. Shan Junhao’s behavior continued to trouble Fan Yunyi, making her feel he didn't truly love her. She reflected that he had never taken her to an amusement park, but had taken Ye Qianyu.
He even seemed less familiar with her preferences than Xu Ziqian, and during their wedding gown fitting, he couldn't say which one looked best, even forgetting to assist her with the cumbersome dress until his mother reminded him. When asked for his opinion on three different gowns, he seemed distracted, merely telling her "It’s up to you" and "They look all the same to me." He suggested they wait for new arrivals, implying the current selection wasn't "good enough."
Shan Junhao's mother intervened, reminding him that a wedding gown is a once-in-a-lifetime purchase, and his partner's opinion matters, as Fan Yunyi was wearing it for him. Later, while discussing their honeymoon, Shan Junhao again appeared distant, claiming he had "piles of work" at Senwell. His mother insisted he make time, reminding him that Senwell managed fine when he disappeared for months. Reluctantly, Shan Junhao agreed to arrange a honeymoon.
However, he soon lied to Fan Yunyi, claiming Dawei had arranged an urgent meeting with a representative for the "Vietnam project," to excuse himself from their dinner and meteor shower plans. After Shan Junhao left, Fan Yunyi discovered the invitation to the Guanmei Fishing Village's meteor shower event he had left behind, realizing he had lied to her. Distraught, she later drank alone, lamenting to Xu Ziqian, "What did I do wrong? Why is Junhao’s heart beating for that woman?"
and questioning why Shan Junhao would lie to her because of Ye Qianyu, an "ordinary girl." Xu Ziqian comforted her, blaming Shan Junhao and assuring Fan Yunyi he would "always be with her." As they watched the meteor shower together, Fan Yunyi made a wish: "I hope Junhao can love me as much as I love him." Meanwhile, back at Guanmei, as the meteor shower illuminated the sky, everyone made wishes.
Tang Shunming proposed to Mama Jinzhi, recalling their meteor shower proposal sixteen years prior and asking if she would consider a complete family for Shengzhe. Shengzhe, too, made a wish to marry Liyin when he grew up. Princess Snow, observing the sincerity around her, softened. She told Taichu that Guanmei Inn was "a nice place" and that she "now understood why he rejected her," implying she realized his heart belonged to someone else.
Ye Qianyu made wishes for the happiness of Guanmei residents, for her family to pay off her father's debts, and to become prettier. Taichu then confessed his wish to Ye Qianyu, "to be with you," but she quietly released his hand and walked away, not accepting his declaration. Moments later, Princess Snow suddenly collapsed, suffering an allergic reaction. Dawei, who was at Guanmei, immediately called Shan Junhao with the "bad news."
At the hospital, the doctor confirmed Princess Snow was stable but stressed avoiding allergic foods. Princess Snow, still agitated, lashed out at Ye Qianyu and Taichu, refusing their apologies and financial compensation. She insisted on suing Guanmei Inn, stating they were "careless about guests’ requests." She revealed her allergy was to "Milk Root," not just "milk," a detail that Liyin had mistakenly recorded.
Shan Junhao arrived and, on behalf of Senwell, took responsibility for the incident, offering a "sincere apology and compensation." He explained that as the developer and host, Senwell aimed to transform Guanmei Fishing Village into a "perfect resort" and hoped for another chance.
Princess Snow, seemingly softened by Shan Junhao's personal appearance, especially given his low public profile, agreed to drop the lawsuit on one condition: Shan Junhao must take a photo with her, to be posted on her social media, which she believed would sway her fans to forgive Guanmei Inn. Shan Junhao agreed. Back at Guanmei Inn, Tang Shunming and Ye Qianyu thanked Shan Junhao for his help.
Shan Junhao quickly dismissed their gratitude, clarifying that his actions were "not for them, but for Senwell’s name and image," reminding them that Guanmei Inn was a Senwell property. Ye Qianyu then asked if they could continue to operate the inn. Shan Junhao asserted that renovating Guanmei Inn would be a "huge project" and that her current "skills" were insufficient. He declared he would "send professionals to work here." Tang Shunming expressed delight at this prospect.
Taichu, however, keenly asked if this meant Shan Junhao would "not pull down the inn." Shan Junhao's response, "Don’t mistake it. I didn’t say that," was met with Mama Jinzhi splashing a bucket of water onto him, accusing him of breaking his promise. Ye Qianyu quickly intervened, explaining that Shan Junhao had just resolved the crisis with Princess Snow, prompting Mama Jinzhi to apologize.
Shan Junhao then received a call from Fan Yunyi, to whom he reiterated that he was "still working" and would be "back later." With his clothes soaked, Tang Shunming offered him a change of clothes—Tonghao's old garments. Seeing Shan Junhao in the familiar attire, Ye Qianyu struggled to separate him from Tonghao, while Shan Junhao, for the first time, turned to her and asked, "What kind of person is Tonghao?" Unbeknownst to them, Fan Yunyi and Xu Ziqian were already on their way to Guanmei Inn.
