Zhang Minghan's assistant, Zhao Qun, informs him about Qiu and Lin's situation in jail. Still resentful about Shan Junhao's uncompromising stance, Qiu and Lin believe Xu Ziqian could be Shan Junhao's vulnerability. They discovered that Xu Ziqian's father, Xu Yifeng, was not a willing participant in the transfer of his shares to Shan Yaolong, but was instead coerced.

Xu Yifeng and Shan Yaolong had conflicting business philosophies, and a miscalculated investment by Xu Yifeng caused a significant crisis at Senwell, pushing it to the brink of bankruptcy. Shan Yaolong provided crucial funds to save the company, but only on the condition that Xu Yifeng transfer all his shares and withdraw from Senwell. This information was unearthed by Qiu and Lin's network, who were diligently searching for ways to retaliate against Shan Junhao from behind bars.

Zhang Minghan contemplates how to utilize this against Shan Junhao, but he acknowledges that undermining Senwell in the process would not be a worthwhile endeavor for him. Shan Junhao and Fan Yunyi discuss their impending wedding. Shan Junhao's mother, eager for the marriage, attempts to involve Xu Ziqian in wedding preparations, though Xu Ziqian remains noticeably distant, suggesting they consider the couple's wishes.

When Shan Junhao and Fan Yunyi arrive, Shan Junhao's mother suggests discussing wedding details, and Shan Junhao agrees to defer to his mother. Shan Junhao then states that he has ordered the immediate evacuation of Guanmei. He quickly cuts off Fan Yunyi when she tries to discuss Guanmei. Senwell's agents, led by Dawei, arrive at Guanmei Inn to proceed with its closure, stating that the one-week period has ended.

The residents resist, but Dawei explains they are simply enforcing the contract. Shan Junhao's lawyer, Mr. Song, strictly prohibits the residents from taking any items belonging to the inn, regardless of their size or personal value, citing Shan Junhao's direct orders. Heartbroken, Tang Shunming instructs everyone to pack, acknowledging that the inn is no longer theirs. Ye Qianyu arrives to find the inn sealed and offers comfort to Tang Shunming.

Later, Sheng, Fengqiao, and Master discreetly re-enter the sealed inn through a back entrance to prepare a final meal, asserting their right to reclaim what they believe is theirs. Inside, they discover Dawei, who had accidentally fallen and fainted earlier while attempting to prevent their entry. They care for him and try to prevent him from leaving. When Shan Junhao calls Dawei, Fengqiao intercepts the phone, fearing that Shan Junhao would learn of their unauthorized presence in the sealed inn.

Dawei later tries to text Shan Junhao for a few days off, but the request is denied. Fengqiao criticizes Shan Junhao's lack of empathy, suggesting to Dawei that his current situation is an unplanned vacation, a notion Dawei ironically embraces given his perpetual workload. Meanwhile, Taichu, who had been observing the Guanmei residents, reveals his true purpose as an observer and presents a detailed analysis: Guanmei Inn has achieved a remarkable 300% profit growth rate recently.

He proposes using this as leverage to negotiate with Shan Junhao, arguing that the initial equity valuation and transfer were now significantly undervalued. Taichu offers to train the residents in professional hotel management and pledges five million yuan in startup capital, reigniting hope among the disheartened community. The Guanmei residents, led by a newly confident Ye Qianyu, confront Shan Junhao and his team in a negotiation meeting.

Shan Junhao is initially skeptical, dismissing their claims and reiterating that Tang Shunming's shares were lawfully transferred to Senwell due to loan defaults, thus negating any need for a new acquisition. Fan Yunyi openly challenges Ye Qianyu, accusing her of being a "swindler." Unfazed, Ye Qianyu presents Guanmei Inn's impressive 300% profit growth as tangible evidence of its viability.

She argues that demolishing the inn for a generic luxury hotel would destroy Guanmei's unique historical and natural appeal, citing statistics on declining traditional hotels and the rise of homestays. Instead, she proposes a "win-win cooperation" where the residents, armed with a comprehensive and data-backed plan, manage the inn while preserving its distinct character. Shan Junhao is visibly taken aback by Ye Qianyu's newfound negotiation prowess, which she attributes to Tonghao's past teachings.

After reviewing the proposal, Shan Junhao, with Xu Ziqian's backing, agrees to give Guanmei Inn one month to demonstrate the plan's feasibility. Fan Yunyi expresses her bewilderment and disapproval of Shan Junhao's decision, but he explains that it is a strategic move to address potential market demands that align with GQ Ventures' vision, not a compromise. Shan Junhao reassures Fan Yunyi that this is purely a business decision and she needn't worry.

After the successful negotiation, Sheng, Fengqiao, and Master joyfully untie Dawei, celebrating their victory and sharing a meal. Dawei, now free, expresses his belief in Shan Junhao's good nature. Their celebration is abruptly interrupted when Shan Junhao unexpectedly arrives at Guanmei Inn. Furious, he confronts Ye Qianyu, accusing her of kidnapping his assistant and expressing profound disappointment, having believed she had reformed.

However, Shan Junhao is stunned to find Dawei not in distress, but cheerfully playing mahjong and eating with the others. Dawei quickly clarifies that he was not abducted but had simply fallen and fainted, and the residents had kindly looked after him. Fengqiao admits to having prevented Dawei from answering Shan Junhao’s calls.

To shield Guanmei Inn and preserve their newly granted opportunity, Ye Qianyu steps forward, taking full responsibility, profusely apologizing, and begging Shan Junhao not to revoke his one-month probation. Shan Junhao, still seething, points out their hypocrisy: negotiating with him while simultaneously "kidnapping" his employee. Ye Qianyu firmly states she will bear all consequences, emphasizing that Guanmei Inn itself should not be penalized for this incident.

Shan Junhao then walks directly towards Ye Qianyu, causing her to retreat until she is pressed against a door. Concerned, Taichu intervenes, demanding to know Shan Junhao's intentions. As Ye Qianyu gazes into Shan Junhao's eyes, she softly whispers "Tonghao," her mind racing with hopes that he might have regained his memories and remembered his promises to protect her and Guanmei Fishing Village. Shan Junhao shatters her illusion, sternly telling her, "Don’t give me that look again. I’m not Tonghao."

He then dramatically tears off the seal from the door against which she was leaning, reiterating his ultimatum: she and Guanmei Inn have only one month to prove the success of their plan. As Shan Junhao turns and walks away, Ye Qianyu is left with the painful realization that he has not reverted to the kind and gentle Tonghao she remembered; he remains the cold and unyielding Shan Junhao, leaving her feeling utterly foolish and heartbroken.
