> Forget You Remember Love Recap

Ye Qianyu often dreamt of being a pirate, embarking on a quest for treasure with her brother, Ye Shengzhe, and their mother, Chen Jinzhi. In her dream, a frog guardian offered them riches in exchange for a kiss. Qianyu initially recoiled from the "stinky frog," but under pressure from her family, she tentatively agreed, only to wake up screaming from the nightmare.

Immediately after, her mother, Chen Jinzhi, confronted Qianyu about 500 yuan found hidden in a frog-shaped pocket, sternly warning her of two months of dishwashing if any more hidden money was discovered. Qianyu, still half-asleep, lamented their financial struggles, wishing for a life free from constantly chasing money—a burden left by her late father's debts. Chen Jinzhi reminded her that the 53rd Rough Water Swim competition was that morning, offering a 5,000 yuan prize for the champion.

As Chen Jinzhi left, Ye Shengzhe cornered her for pocket money. Their mother, without hesitation, gave him 50 yuan from Qianyu's freshly confiscated stash. Realizing Shengzhe had likely informed her mother, Qianyu confronted him, but he boldly told her not to refuse him pocket money in the future. Armed with another secret stash of money from under a flowerpot, Qianyu set out, determined to win the prize.

Passing the Dream Home piano shop, she was dismayed to see a "Sold Out" sign on a piano she desired. She rushed in and confronted the owner, Su Liyin, who mockingly suggested Qianyu couldn't afford it, explaining a deposit had already been paid by another customer. Su Liyin said breaching the deal would cost her double the earnest money.

Qianyu, unwavering, vowed to pay for any penalties and passionately pleaded with Su Liyin to reserve the piano for her, promising the full payment that very day. Qianyu arrived at the Guanmei Fishing Village just as the 53rd Rough Water Swim was being announced. The host explained the rules: the first person to retrieve the Rough Water Swim flag from a distant buoy and return would win 5,000 yuan.

Qianyu quickly changed into her swimsuit in her car and dove into the water as the countdown concluded. She took an immediate lead, swimming with incredible speed, much to the cheering crowd's delight. Meanwhile, Shan Junhao was on a yacht that suddenly malfunctioned, throwing him into the sea. Qianyu reached the buoy and secured the flag, but seeing Shan Junhao struggling, she paused, then, with a sigh, abandoned the flag to swim to his rescue.

Qianyu successfully dragged Shan Junhao to shore and performed CPR, bringing him back to consciousness. Shan Junhao, a germaphobe, was immediately repulsed by the sand and a strange taste in his mouth. When Qianyu casually mentioned she’d eaten "Tonghao" (crown daisy) for breakfast, his disgust intensified. She chastised him for his lack of gratitude, reminding him that her heroic act cost her the 5,000 yuan prize and even her "first kiss" (through the CPR).

Shan Junhao scoffed at her claim, but Qianyu insisted that "lips-to-lips" constituted a kiss and demanded compensation. She itemized her losses: 5,000 yuan for the prize, 1,000 yuan for salvage, 1,000 yuan for CPR, and another 1,000 yuan for her "first kiss," totaling 8,000 yuan. Shan Junhao scoffed at the perceived low value of her first kiss, prompting Qianyu to declare she regretted saving him and to demand immediate payment.

With his phone soaked and no cash, Shan Junhao agreed to write an IOU if Qianyu provided dry clothes and a phone to make a call. She gleefully offered him a garish Guanmei Fishing Village tourist suit for 500 yuan, raising the total to 8,500 yuan, and then added an exorbitant daily interest rate. Shan Junhao called her ruthless, but Qianyu retorted that he wouldn't be alive to judge if she hadn't saved him.

He grudgingly signed the IOU under the name "Tonghao" and was told to pay by nightfall. Shan Junhao’s assistant, Li Dawei, initially failed to recognize him in the flashy tourist attire. Embarrassed, Shan Junhao quickly returned to Senwell, where he resumed his formidable persona as General Manager, commanding universal respect. In the Project Development Department, he encountered Fan Yunyi, the newly appointed, highly qualified manager.

Director Liu, eager to impress, began to elaborate on Fan Yunyi's impressive credentials, including her MBA from Wharton and experience at Heteng. However, Shan Junhao abruptly cut him off, firing Director Liu on the spot. Shan Junhao explained that the Guanmei Fishing Village project demanded absolute precision, and Director Liu's report contained a 0. 01 square kilometer deviation in the designated safe waters.

An assistant clarified that this seemingly minor error had led to Shan Junhao's yacht striking a reef within the "safe" area, nearly costing him his life. Shan Junhao stressed that Senwell tolerated nothing less than 100% accuracy, offering no second chances for mistakes, and directed Director Liu to proceed with his discharge. Director Xu Ziqian lightheartedly remarked that a day felt incomplete if General Manager Shan Junhao hadn't fired someone.

Shan Junhao sternly ordered him to immediately resolve the issue with Tang Shunming, or face the same fate. Director Xu confirmed that Tang Shunming’s loan payments were three months overdue, and a demolition notice had been issued, legally allowing Senwell to repossess Guanmei Hotel. Shan Junhao, noticing Fan Yunyi, told her to come home for dinner. He then reviewed the Guanmei Fishing Village development plan, which projected a 64% annual return and a 20-month investment recoup period.

Despite Vice General Manager Zhang's concerns that accelerating the project by half a month was too aggressive, Shan Junhao remained firm. He explained that an earlier start meant earlier completion and thus earlier profits, adding that all departments were prepared and Zhiwen Capital was investing 2 billion yuan. Qianyu attempted to call Shan Junhao for her 8,500 yuan compensation, but his assistant, Li Dawei, answered.

Unaware of the IOU or the "Tonghao" alias, Li Dawei dismissed Qianyu as a scammer and promptly hung up. Believing she had been cheated, Qianyu tearfully confessed to her mother, who scolded her for her foolishness. Soon after, Qianyu received a call from her friend, Asheng, informing her that Tang Shunming's Guanmei Hotel was facing demolition by Senwell. Concerned, Qianyu rushed to Senwell. At Senwell, Tang Shunming was making a desperate stand, demanding to see Shan Junhao.

Director Xu Ziqian met him instead, explaining that due to three months of overdue payments totaling 8 million yuan, Senwell had the legal right to repossess Guanmei Hotel. Tang Shunming accused Senwell of breaching an agreement to give him a month to raise funds and protested that the hotel represented three generations of his family's hard work. He then produced a glass shard, threatening suicide if the demolition proceeded.

Shan Junhao arrived and calmly dismissed Tang Shunming's threats, explaining that his death would not affect Senwell's legal standing and would only be a temporary news item. He even morbidly instructed Tang Shunming on the precise location to cut his carotid artery for a quick death, warning him of the pain and potential for a vegetative state if he got it wrong. While "demonstrating," Shan Junhao swiftly disarmed Tang Shunming, and security escorted him away.

Qianyu arrived at Senwell, finding Director Xu Ziqian trying to calm Tang Shunming after Shan Junhao had left. Director Xu reminded Tang Shunming that if he could raise the money within a month, he still had the right to repurchase Guanmei Hotel's shares according to the original loan agreement. Seeing Tang Shunming distressed, Qianyu angrily confronted Director Xu, blaming Senwell for their harsh actions.

Director Xu, acknowledging their differing positions, offered a simple apology, and Tang Shunming interjected that Director Xu was not at fault. Back at Guanmei Hotel, the staff were despondent over the impending demolition. Despite this, a new guest arrived, seeking to check in. Initially mistaking him for a salesperson or someone seeking to use the restroom, the staff quickly became enthusiastic when they realized he wanted a room.

They proudly led him through the hotel, highlighting its unique charm, its books and objects with special stories, and its key features like sea views during the day and stargazing at night. The guest noted the dust in the room, which the staff attributed to the sea air. Satisfied, he decided to take the room. As he checked in, the staff were amazed by his passport, filled with stamps from numerous countries, indicating he was well-traveled.

Meanwhile, Vice General Manager Zhang’s subordinates discussed how Shan Junhao's rash decision to accelerate the Guanmei Fishing Village project, leading to Tang Shunming's protest, had caused him to "come a cropper." They believed any misstep by Shan Junhao would become a crucial advantage for them.
