Si Yin and Ling Yu went to the military tent to pay their respects to their master, Mo Yuan. There, they also found the three princes of the Heavenly Monarch and High Goddess Yao Guang. Si Yin and Yao Guang, who had not seen each other since their last encounter in the water prison, met again amidst the escalating war.

Mo Yuan assigned Ling Yu to lead the front army with 10,000 soldiers, while Si Yin was to follow him and lead the middle section. Mo Yuan shared that he had set up seven formations, each with seven forms, totaling 49 formations. He emphasized the importance of not underestimating Qing Cang, the Winged Tribe's monarch. Later, Mo Yuan called Si Yin aside to a secluded spot.

He expressed his somber thoughts on the impending battle, reflecting that it would secure at least 70,000 years of peace for the Four Seas and Eight Wildernesses. He then decided to impart the powerful spell to seal the Donghuang Bell to Si Yin, noting that among his seventeen disciples, she alone possessed the talent for it, despite his reluctance to teach her such a dangerous technique.

Si Yin, remembering her earlier inquiry about the spell, accepted, wondering if Mo Yuan had discerned her true identity as the daughter of the Fox Emperor. Meanwhile, in Kunlun Mountain, Zhe Yan retrieved his Fuxi Qin, but as he did so, a string suddenly snapped, leading him to fear that a great catastrophe was unavoidable in the coming war. The battle between the Heavenly and Winged Tribes officially commenced, shaking the heavens and earth.

As horns blared and mythical beasts charged, Mo Yuan calmly deployed his forces. However, to his surprise and dismay, Qing Cang swiftly broke through Mo Yuan's formation, causing heavy casualties among the Heavenly soldiers. Ling Yu led his troops bravely into the enemy lines, clashing with Li Yuan. Overwhelmed by the superior numbers, Ling Yu was severely wounded, his magic failing. Concerned for Ling Yu, Si Yin ignored Mo Yuan's warnings and flew into the enemy ranks to rescue him.

She reached Ling Yu's side, but he was already on the verge of death. Just as Li Yuan moved to strike Si Yin, Li Jing intervened, his sword clashing with his brother's. He argued that since his wife was the one who broke the formation, the glory belonged to him, and he thus had the right to protect Si Yin.

Li Yuan scoffed, revealing that Qing Cang had only spared Li Jing's life because Xuan Nü had stolen Mo Yuan's formation map for him. Hearing this, Si Yin realized with shock that Xuan Nü's injury and her presence in Kunlun Void had been part of an elaborate scheme to obtain the battle plans. Infuriated, Si Yin prepared to retaliate, but Bai Zhen arrived in time, whisking away Si Yin and the grievously wounded Ling Yu.

Despite Mo Yuan's efforts, Ling Yu's injuries were too severe to heal. Si Yin, overcome with guilt, blamed herself for Ling Yu's death, believing it stemmed from her entangled relationship with Li Jing and her decision to shelter Xuan Nü. Mo Yuan embraced the distraught Si Yin, comforting her. Calmer, Si Yin revealed to Mo Yuan and the others that Xuan Nü had stolen the formation map and given it to Qing Cang, which explained the Winged Tribe's rapid advance.

The news stunned everyone. Reports then confirmed that more of Mo Yuan's formations were being breached, putting the Heavenly Tribe at a severe disadvantage. To turn the tide, Mo Yuan proposed a dangerous strategy: 10,000 soldiers would act as a decoy to draw away 100,000 enemy troops, a mission that was certainly suicidal.

As a heavy silence fell upon the tent, High Goddess Yao Guang stepped forward and volunteered to lead these 10,000 soldiers, offering her life to create a chance for victory. Mo Yuan, after careful consideration, accepted her plea, recognizing their shared resolve as comrades in arms. The others watched her depart, filled with solemn respect. With Ling Yu's command of the front army now vacant, Bai Zhen volunteered to take his place, and Mo Yuan approved.

Si Yin, in turn, was assigned to lead the Left Yuhou Army, the unit previously commanded by Yao Guang. The next day, the battle raged on. Following Mo Yuan's plan, Yao Guang led her 10,000 soldiers to divert the enemy, creating a path for Mo Yuan's main force to penetrate the enemy's heartland.

As Mo Yuan confronted Qing Cang directly, the tyrannical Winged Monarch, heedless of countless lives, unleashed the ancient Donghuang Bell, threatening to drag all of creation into oblivion with him. The Donghuang Bell's devastating power swept across the battlefield, indiscriminately drawing in both Heavenly and Winged soldiers. Mo Yuan knew that only by sealing Qing Cang within the bell could this disaster be averted. Without hesitation, he engaged Qing Cang, fighting with all his might to trap him.

Once Qing Cang was sealed, the Donghuang Bell demanded a powerful primordial spirit as a sacrifice to stabilize its seal. Mo Yuan chose to offer his own, knowing it would shatter his soul. As he stood before the bell, he cast a final glance at a wounded Si Yin, who was watching him from the ground, and uttered only two words: "Wait for me." With that, Mo Yuan's spirit entered the Donghuang Bell.

Mo Yuan's sacrifice successfully sealed Qing Cang within the Donghuang Bell beneath the Canghai Sea, bringing an end to the earth-shattering chaos. Mo Yuan's immortal body slowly descended. Si Yin clutched his body, sobbing uncontrollably, her desperate cries of "Teacher! Teacher!" echoing unanswered, for Mo Yuan would never again open his eyes to call her "Seventeenth."

With Qing Cang sealed and the Winged Tribe defeated, Li Yuan and Li Jing, along with the remaining Winged soldiers, surrendered to the Heavenly Tribe. Si Yin, devastated by Mo Yuan's sacrifice, was further enraged by the sight of the Winged Tribe's surrender. She furiously declared that as long as she lived, she would eradicate every member of their tribe. Her emotions spiraling, Bai Zhen had no choice but to knock her unconscious and take her back to Kunlun Void.

Upon learning that Mo Yuan had sacrificed his primordial spirit to seal the Donghuang Bell, Donghua was profoundly shocked. Recognizing the opportunity presented by the Winged Tribe's defeat, Donghua dispatched Star Monarch Si Ming to assist Li Jing in ascending to the throne of the Winged Monarch, believing this would ensure peace throughout the Four Seas and Eight Wildernesses. Back in the Winged Tribe's territory, Li Jing was consumed by despair, haunted by the vengeful look in Si Yin's eyes.

Xuan Nü attempted to console him, but Li Jing pushed her away in disgust. He bitterly told her that with his father sealed and his long-standing animosity with his elder brother, his own death seemed imminent. Just then, Si Ming arrived. Puzzled by the Heavenly Tribe's unexpected visit, Li Jing asked Si Ming his purpose. Si Ming revealed the Heavenly Tribe's intention to support Li Jing as the next Winged Monarch. Unbeknownst to them, Xuan Nü, hiding nearby, overheard their entire conversation.
