Bai Qian deliberately fell from the peach tree. Hearing the sound, Ye Hua swiftly flew forward to catch her. As their eyes met, Ye Hua's heart seemed to stop, his gaze and mind entirely consumed by the face identical to Su Su's. Bai Qian, emboldened by the wine, tried to get closer to Ye Hua, but a lingering shred of sobriety made her pull away in time.

By the time Ye Hua regained his senses, the person in his arms had already vanished without a trace. Ye Hua ran frantically through the peach forest, calling Su Su's name, unable to distinguish whether it was his hallucination or reality. When Bai Qian woke up at Zhe Yan's place the next day, she assumed everything from the previous night had been nothing more than a spring dream.

She couldn't help but laugh at herself for shamelessly flirting with a young man in her dream, feeling ashamed of her High Goddess status. Bai Qian bid farewell to Zhe Yan and leisurely made her way to the East Sea to attend the banquet. On the East Sea shore, Bai Qian encountered Princess Lü Xiu. Without revealing her identity, Bai Qian was mistaken by the princess for some minor fairy.

Princess Lü Xiu then demanded Bai Qian guide her to the East Sea Crystal Palace. Bai Qian unintentionally overheard Lü Xiu's maids gossiping about her, even calling her an "old hag." This infuriated her, but given that she hadn't left Green Hills for millennia and outsiders had never seen her, such wild speculations were inevitable. Upon arriving at the East Sea Palace, there was still some time before the banquet began.

Bai Qian, mingling among the gathered immortals, found it utterly dull and wanted to find a secluded spot to rest. After searching in vain, she was about to return to the main hall when she accidentally lost her tree sprout. With no other choice, Bai Qian decided to wander aimlessly. After walking a few dozen steps, she nearly bumped into a little boy who radiated an extraordinary aura. Bai Qian assumed he must be the son of some deity.

Watching the child struggle to pull weeds, she handed him her Po Yun Fan, saying, "Use this—it'll make it easier." Little did Bai Qian know, this chubby little boy was none other than the Heavenly Monarch's grandson, Ye Hua's son, Ah Li. As a celestial being, the Po Yun Fan in Ah Li's hands wielded considerable power. With a light wave, Ah Li blew away all the seaweed clinging to the coral, stirring up a fierce wind.

In no time, the dimly lit Crystal Palace was illuminated to a blinding brightness. Bai Qian's eyes couldn't tolerate the intense light, but fortunately, the white silk ribbon the Fox Emperor had made for her to block light appeared in time to shield her eyes. Startled by his own actions, Ah Li turned to Bai Qian for help, only to freeze upon seeing her—she looked exactly like the mother in his father's paintings.

Ah Li clung to Bai Qian, crying out heartbreakingly, "Mother! Mother! Why did you abandon Father and me?" Bai Qian was utterly baffled by his outburst. Hearing Ah Li's cries, Ye Hua rushed over and saw Bai Qian with the white silk over her eyes—an exact replica of Su Su. Stunned, he called out "Su Su" repeatedly, overcome with emotion.

As he reached out to touch the wife he had longed for over three hundred years, Bai Qian concealed the ribbon and sternly rebuked Ye Hua for his impropriety. Coming to his senses, Ye Hua realized that Su Su would never have spoken so harshly. This person before him was not Su Su after all. Heartbroken, Ye Hua reluctantly took the reluctant Ah Li and left.

Finally free of Ye Hua and his son, Bai Qian was about to catch her breath when she turned and ran straight into Shao Xin, who had hurried over to find her. Centuries had passed, and though Bai Qian held no fondness for Sang Ji, Shao Xin had made her the laughingstock of the realms. Worse, because of them, she was now betrothed to Ye Hua, who should technically address her as his ancestor.

The mere thought of it filled her with rage. Bai Qian even considered lightly waving her Po Yun Fan to send Shao Xin back to the North Sea, but seeing her heavily pregnant belly, she couldn't bring herself to do it. Shao Xin knelt before Bai Qian, explaining that she had sensed the power of the Po Yun Fan and guessed her aunt might be present.

Tears welled up in her eyes, making it impossible for Bai Qian to truly dislike her. Shao Xin pleaded pitifully, "Auntie, you’ve never met Sang Ji and once said you wouldn’t like him. Breaking off the engagement left you with better options—isn’t Crown Prince Ye Hua thousands of times better than Sang Ji? Marrying Sang Ji wouldn’t have made you happy. I always believed you were the most magnanimous goddess in the world. Without Sang Ji, I have nothing."

As Bai Qian listened, she absentmindedly tapped the table with her middle and ring fingers and occasionally sniffed the Po Yun Fan. These unconscious habits were all observed by Ye Hua from a distance. The scar on Bai Qian’s right hand when she lifted the fan deeply moved him—every gesture of this woman before him was unmistakably Su Su. If these small actions could be coincidental, how could the identical scar on her arm be a mere accident?

Hearing Bai Qian and Shao Xin’s conversation, Ye Hua finally realized that the woman before him was none other than his betrothed, Bai Qian of Green Hills. More importantly, he was now certain she was Su Su, though the tangled history between them left him momentarily unable to sort out the details. But whether Bai Qian was deliberately pretending not to recognize him or had truly forgotten him, none of it mattered to Ye Hua.

What mattered was that Su Su was alive—no, not Su Su, but Bai Qian, his betrothed, the woman he had longed for day and night, was none other than his beloved wife. Ye Hua affectionately called out "Qian Qian," startling Bai Qian. Though she knew of her engagement to Crown Prince Ye Hua, such intimacy at their first meeting was overwhelming. Bai Qian ultimately gifted the Po Yun Fan to Shao Xin.

After all, they had once been mistress and servant. She told Shao Xin to make a wish and come to Green Hills when she figured out what she wanted—with the fan, Mi Gu and the others wouldn’t stop her. Ignoring the onlookers, Ye Hua took Bai Qian’s hand and led her to the banquet.

Ah Li clung to Bai Qian’s side, unwilling to leave for even a moment, calling her "Mother" so persistently that Bai Qian almost wondered if she had truly abandoned her husband and child three hundred years ago. Princess Miao Qing, following her elder brother’s advice, dressed elaborately and performed a dance to capture Ye Hua’s attention. But how could she know that Ye Hua’s eyes and heart were now entirely fixed on Bai Qian, leaving no room for anyone else?

After the performance, the East Sea Divine Monarch begged Ye Hua to meet his sister Miao Qing. Unable to refuse, Ye Hua instructed Bai Qian to take care of Ah Li while he stepped away briefly. Bai Qian thought, "Is he really planning to take me back to the Heavenly Palace?" She decided she had to find Ye Hua quickly, return Ah Li, and slip back to Green Hills.

Sensing her intention to leave, Ah Li burst into tears, pitifully pleading, "My father is taking a stepmother, my mother is marrying a stepfather—I’ll truly become an unwanted child!" Bai Qian, maternal by nature, couldn’t bear to see the little boy so distressed. She quickly comforted him, saying, "Your father is my darling, my sweetheart, my honey. Since you call me Mother, how could I ever leave you?" Only then did Ah Li stop crying.

Ah Li took Bai Qian to find Ye Hua, just in time to see Princess Miao Qing tearfully pouring her heart out to him. Ye Hua’s impatience was evident, but the moment he spotted Bai Qian, he walked toward her. Quick-witted, Ah Li repeated Bai Qian’s earlier sweet words to Ye Hua. With a faint smile, Ye Hua stepped forward, blocking Bai Qian’s path, and asked softly if she truly meant it.

Bai Qian assumed he was using her to ward off the princess’s advances and inwardly lamented her misfortune, forcing a stiff smile. Playing along for appearances, she made it seem like a lovers’ quarrel before making her escape. Ah Li tried to chase after her, but Ye Hua stopped him, saying smugly that he knew where to find his mother.
