> Go Go Squid 2 Dt.Appledog's Time Recap
Upon hearing Ai Qing's name, Wu Bai, who was receiving an IV drip at the hospital, immediately pulled out the needle and rushed to the hotel. Meanwhile, in the hotel's KTV room, Ai Qing realized she had forgotten her phone and went to her room to get it. Wu Bai took the elevator to the KTV floor, and as the doors opened, he saw Ai Qing waiting for the elevator going up. Their eyes met, and both were momentarily stunned.
Seeing the person he had thought about for so long, Wu Bai, though outwardly calm, couldn't help but smile. He looked into her eyes and said, "I'm back." Ai Qing, seeing Wu Bai after three years, also had a joyful look in her eyes and replied softly, "Long time no see." Before Wu Bai could say more, she stepped into the elevator. Feeling a pang of reluctance, he summoned his courage and took the stairs to follow her.
Ai Qing had just returned to her room when her phone rang. It was Wu Bai, who wanted to see her. She stepped out and saw him down the hall. He asked if she was hungry and wanted to get a midnight snack, and she smiled and agreed. Back in the KTV room, Ai Jing grew concerned when her sister didn't return and wanted to look for her.
A slightly intoxicated Shen Zhe advised her not to, subtly hinting that Ai Qing was with Wu Bai. Intrigued, Ai Jing asked Shen Zhe if he liked her, but he just smiled mysteriously. Wu Bai and Ai Qing went to a bustling outdoor food stall. After ordering, Ai Qing asked where he had been all these years, but Wu Bai struggled to answer.
Understanding his quiet nature, she changed the subject, asking if he was there for the opening ceremony of the China Robot Combat Tournaments. Wu Bai confirmed this, explaining he had founded a team called K&K. Ai Qing, finding the name interesting, asked about its meaning. Wu Bai dodged the question and asked if she was also attending the ceremony. She explained she was there as a sponsor's staff member, having retired from competition.
When he asked why, Ai Qing avoided the heavy topic by picking up a crayfish and praising its taste. Noticing medicinal tape on his hand, Ai Qing asked what was wrong. Wu Bai insisted he was fine, so she playfully started guessing a series of bizarre illnesses. Amused, he finally admitted to having seasonal gastroenteritis. Ai Qing then got him a bowl of porridge from the stall owner. Wu Bai took a sip and found it surprisingly sweet.
Soon after, he felt unwell and had to step aside to vomit. Ai Qing offered him a tissue and instinctively supported him when he seemed unsteady. Her closeness and gentle, concerned eyes stirred something within him. Embarrassed that her hands, messy from the crayfish, had dirtied his sleeve, Ai Qing quickly let go and apologized. Unconcerned by the stain, Wu Bai went to pay the bill.
Later, as the KTV party broke up, a tipsy Ai Jing stumbled at the door. Shen Zhe approached her, asking if she still wanted the answer to her earlier question. When a dazed Ai Jing nodded, he whispered "Yes," then gently embraced and kissed her. Overwhelmed, she passed out in his arms. Holding the sleeping Ai Jing, he continued a one-sided conversation, teasing her about Wu Bai's quietness.
After their meal, Wu Bai and Ai Qing stopped at a small shop. Ai Qing pointed out a jar of wish notes and suggested they each pick one. The note Wu Bai drew seemed to perfectly capture his feelings: "I looked upon all others with indifference, but my heart was stirred only by you." He shyly explained to Ai Qing what it said. She laughed, telling him since he bought dinner, she would buy him candy, and then they left.
Back at the hotel, Wu Bai couldn't sleep, disturbed by his crowded teammates. Getting up, he found 97 still awake. After 97 offered him his bed, he eagerly asked about the reunion with his "goddess." Wu Bai confessed how good it felt to see her again, vowing that this time, he wouldn't leave.
The next morning, Ai Jing remarked to Ai Qing that she finally understood her sister's passion for robot combat, which was like a celebrity career with millions of fans. Looking at the familiar arena, Ai Qing reflected that she had perhaps spent the last three years running from her team, her teammates, and her dream. At the opening ceremony, Wang Hao's Team SP and Wu Bai's K&K were officially introduced. The two captains shook hands.
Seated in the audience with her sister, Ai Qing went unnoticed by Wang Hao, but Wu Bai glanced back, his gaze lingering on her as his heart filled with joy. Invited on stage, Wu Bai was asked why he declined offers from top-tier clubs to start a new team. He stated his ambition was to build his own team from scratch and lead it to a world championship. His powerful words earned a huge applause.
He looked toward Ai Qing, who smiled back, and he inwardly vowed to win the title for her and fulfill their shared dream. During an interactive quiz, Ai Qing helped a young boy in front of her who was struggling to answer questions about Wang Hao. She whispered the correct answers to him, including details about Wang Hao's championships, his 299 career wins, and a private 2008 grudge match against a Swedish player named Nerney.
After Wang Hao confirmed the answers were correct, the boy went on stage for his prize. The host then spotted Ai Qing in the audience and, in surprise, announced her iconic screen name to the entire arena: Appledog.
