After the championship match, a reporter sent by Mr. Xiang approached Wu Bai for an interview, explaining they couldn't return to China without it, as the country was already celebrating wildly. Despite the reporter's eagerness, Wu Bai's responses were brief, consisting only of repeated thanks. As the K&K team discussed rewards and their planned celebration party, they realized Wu Bai and Ai Qing had quietly slipped away. The couple had gone to a shooting range for a friendly competition.

After losing, Ai Qing asked Wu Bai if he had intentionally lost to her during their previous session in Singapore, citing a fan's online disclosure. Wu Bai firmly denied it, explaining that his performance had been affected by a problem with his eyes. He revealed that he underwent surgery immediately after that competition, which led to his three-year disappearance.

He had wanted to call her from the hospital but felt he couldn't offer her happiness at that time, so he decided to wait until he had achieved success before finding her again. Ai Qing finally understood the meaning behind his goal of winning "300 championships" before starting a relationship with her.

Wu Bai clarified that the number was significant because Wang Hao had 299 victories, and he felt he needed to surpass that to be worthy of confessing his love. He pushed himself to compete in over 200 matches abroad before daring to return. Touched, Ai Qing called him foolish, and Wu Bai expressed regret for not returning sooner, believing they could have already been married. Later that evening, Wu Bai accompanied Ai Qing back to her hotel room.

Hesitating to leave, he confessed he didn't want to part ways. Ai Qing noticed his rapidly beating heart, and he admitted it was because he was thinking of her. He then kissed her as the door closed behind them. The next morning, Wu Bai lay awake, smiling as he watched Ai Qing sleep. When she woke, she shyly asked why he was staring, and he replied that he still hadn't had enough of looking at her.

While they were having the breakfast he had prepared, Wu Bai received a call from his mother. Hearing he wanted to get married, she immediately decided that she and Wu Bai's father would fly back to China the day after tomorrow, a sudden development that surprised Ai Qing.

Meanwhile, Shen Zhe overheard the news and, feeling that Ai Jing, as the elder sister, should have her parents meet first, promptly called his own mother, urging her to come to Shanghai the next morning. Ai Jing's father became flustered upon learning that both prospective in-laws would arrive the next day. Ai Jing clarified the schedule: Shen Zhe's mother in the morning, followed by Wu Bai's parents in the afternoon.

Her father, panicking about making a good impression, removed his apron and rushed out to buy suitable clothes. The next day, Shen Zhe, in the car with his mother, repeatedly emphasized that she must not bully Ai Jing, whom he described as a wonderful girl. His mother still remarked on Ai Jing's age, but Shen Zhe insisted he preferred older women.

Meanwhile, Wu Bai arrived at Ai Qing's place much earlier than expected, causing Ai Qing to panic about what to wear for their meeting. Wu Bai reassured her that his parents had, in a way, already "met" her through the many posters and photos in his room.

When Ai Qing insisted it wasn't the same, Wu Bai eased her worries by explaining that his parents were also each other's first love and were therefore especially happy that he was with his. Wu Bai then took Ai Qing to his grandfather's house, where his mother welcomed her warmly. His grandfather immediately suggested that Wu Bai and Han Shangyan, who was also preparing to wed, should hold a joint wedding the following month.

In the meantime, Shen Zhe's mother concluded her lunch with Ai Jing and her father. As they parted ways, she apologized to Ai Jing for her previous reservations, which Ai Jing politely dismissed. After Shen Zhe and his mother left, Ai Jing's father noted that Shen Zhe's mother seemed traditional while Ai Jing was strong-willed, predicting future arguments and advising his daughter to be more yielding.

Later, Ai Jing's father rushed home to change for the evening meeting with Wu Bai's parents. To show impartiality towards both daughters, he had bought two identical suits, a detail that amused Ai Jing when he explained it. Upon arrival at the restaurant, Ai Jing's father met Wu Bai's grandfather and parents. The conversation was warm, covering topics like the future wedding home, which Wu Bai stated he and Ai Qing intended to purchase together, and even future children.

That evening, Shen Zhe arrived at Ai Jing's home, passionately declaring that since Wu Bai and Ai Qing were getting married, their own wedding should also be on the agenda. Overwhelmed by his confession of love, Ai Jing kissed him on the cheek. When Shen Zhe deemed it "not enough," she kissed him again, leaving lipstick marks all over his face.

Aware that her father would soon return, Ai Jing urged him to leave, but Shen Zhe playfully suggested that her father could witness their affection. Separately, Wu Bai was on the phone with Han Shangyan, discussing the grandfather's suggestion of a joint wedding. Han Shangyan told Tong Nian that getting married would bring a sense of "stability."

Tong Nian playfully reminded him that they had already received their marriage certificate, but Han Shangyan chuckled, stating that not living together was the source of his "instability." Soon after, Wu Bai arrived at Ai Qing's home. Her father warmly greeted him, but Ai Qing, with a sense of urgency, pulled Wu Bai into her room. She expressed anxiety about the proposed wedding next month, lamenting that she had prepared nothing.

Wu Bai explained that his grandfather had chosen the timing to coincide with the National Day holiday. When Ai Qing pointed out that they hadn't even registered their marriage yet, Wu Bai revealed he had brought all their necessary documents, suggesting they go immediately. As they emerged from the room, they found Ai Jing's father and Ai Jing eavesdropping.

Upon hearing their plan, Ai Qing's father, who had anticipated this moment, promptly handed Ai Qing her household register, which he had been carrying with him. He affectionately joked that he was happily handing her over because Wu Bai was so exceptional. The couple then went to the Civil Affairs Bureau.

During their photo session, Ai Qing had to guide a somewhat awkward Wu Bai on posing for "new-style" photos, explaining that his constant travel kept him out of touch with current trends. After successfully obtaining their marriage certificate, Ai Qing playfully asked if it was too late to regret it, a thought Wu Bai firmly dismissed. Shortly after, Ai Qing received a call from her father, who confirmed they had the certificate.

He told them that he and Ai Jing were heading out and encouraged the newlyweds to enjoy their "two-person world" with the large spread of food and wine he had prepared. Ai Jing had even left a note on the table, humorously suggesting they drink until they were "drunk unconscious."
