Although Dongfang Qingcang appeared to drink the "Dream of the Nine Mysteries" wine, he secretly expelled it, choosing to experience the same agonizing pain Xiao Lanhua endured in the Fuju Cave. He declared that as a couple, they must share life, death, honor, and disgrace, and he could not bear to let her suffer alone.

Meanwhile, Xun Feng rushed to the Fuju Cave, desperately urging Xiao Lanhua to abandon the trial, warning that the punishment would not cease unless she voluntarily gave up. Weakened, Xiao Lanhua persevered, even witnessing a beautiful cloud whale during her ordeal. After the three-day sentence concluded, Dongfang Qingcang, still recovering from the shared pain, ordered the casket to be opened. Upon Xiao Lanhua's emergence, the Moon Tribe members bowed in unison, hailing her as the Moon Queen.

At Shuiyuntian, Lord Yunzhong declared Changheng a sinful immortal, stripping him of his War God title and family name before sentencing him to the Fairy Guillotine for associating with a spy. Danyin intervened, tearfully confessing that the fault was hers. She revealed that Xiao Lanhua was the long-lost Goddess of Xishan, whose Xilan Sacred Seal purifies evil spirits.

Danyin explained that Changheng's repeated trips to the Cangyan Sea were not reckless but driven by a destined marriage, which she had witnessed in the Tianji Mirror. Admitting she hid the truth out of selfish love for Changheng, she asked to face the punishment in his place. Acknowledging her revelation, Lord Yunzhong declared Danyin had atoned for her mistake and reinstated Changheng as the God of War, praising his efforts to save the Goddess as a righteous act.

Immediately after, a "confession" from the imprisoned Rong Hao was presented, falsely accusing the Moon Tribe of slaughtering three thousand immortal soldiers and igniting a call for war. Infuriated, Changheng confronted Rong Hao in prison, demanding to know why he lied to instigate war. Rong Hao calmly explained that Lord Yunzhong simply needed a pretext to invade Cangyan Sea, and he merely provided it. He then revealed a shocking truth: Dongfang Qingcang could no longer wield hellfire.

A stunned Changheng questioned how this was possible, but Rong Hao insisted that the war was now inevitable and Changheng, like him, would have no choice but to participate. Changheng accused Rong Hao of hiding his true motives, which went beyond simply resurrecting the Former God of War. Rong Hao cryptically replied that some truths were better left unknown and that he would never lie to Changheng. Shangque, frustrated by Jieli's recent avoidance, confronted her.

He produced a key to his cellar, declaring it contained all his past and future earnings, which he wished to give to her as a symbol of his desire to marry her. Jieli initially scoffed at his meager salary but, to Shangque's immense joy, accepted his proposal. Later, Xiao Lanhua noticed Jieli's unusually generous behavior, including giving her a dowry and clearing all their past debts.

After learning of the proposal from Shangque, Xiao Lanhua surmised that Jieli, who had always prioritized money for security, had found a true home and family in the Silent Moon Palace. With love and friendship, her perspective on wealth had changed. Dongfang Qingcang hastened to meet Xiao Lanhua, only to find her inexplicably altered. She greeted him with a strange, possessive tone, calling him "My husband" and lamenting his delay.

Dongfang Qingcang immediately sensed that the woman before him was not the Xiao Lanhua he knew and demanded, "You are not Orchid. Who are you?" The imposter lunged at Xun Feng with killing intent as he arrived, forcing Dongfang Qingcang to intervene. He then understood the horrifying truth: the Bone Orchid contained the fragmented spirit of the Chidi Woman. Because Xiao Lanhua's love for him was so profound, the Bone Orchid had become inseparable from her life force.

The Chidi Woman's spirit was siphoning Xiao Lanhua's vitality, and if the Orchid wasn't removed within ten days, Xiao Lanhua would perish as the spirit recovered, which would in turn kill Dongfang Qingcang due to the Heart Curse. Xun Feng presented a brutal solution: the newly reforged Chengying Sword, with which the deeply-in-love Xiao Lanhua would surely sacrifice herself to save Dongfang Qingcang.

Enraged, Dongfang Qingcang demanded the sword to destroy it, but Xun Feng refused, prioritizing his brother's life and the retrieval of the Chidi Woman's spirit to resurrect their one hundred thousand soldiers. He callously stated that as the future Moon Queen, Xiao Lanhua should be willing to make the ultimate sacrifice. Before storming off, Xun Feng revealed he knew the truth: Dongfang Qingcang's hellfire had vanished because his love for Xiao Lanhua had restored his emotions.

Meanwhile, Dieyi located Liyuan, an immortal elder, and coerced him into freeing Rong Hao from prison by revealing a long-held secret: Liyuan's wife had given birth to twin daughters. Liyuan took one, Danyin, while the other was secretly raised by Rong Hao. Dieyi then threatened Jieli, revealing she had poisoned Shangque.

She gave Jieli an antidote for a three-day reprieve and a new ultimatum: bring Xiao Lanhua out of Cangyan Sea, or both she and Shangque would die a painful death. Distraught, Jieli hid her turmoil when Shangque arrived. He confessed a sense of dread, feeling their recent happiness was unreal and fearing he might not return from the coming war to protect her. Jieli fiercely vowed to ensure he would live to old age.

With the immortal army at their gates, the Moon Tribe elders convened. Some argued for a strategic retreat, but Xun Feng vehemently opposed giving up more land. He rallied the troops, reminding them of their unity under Dongfang Qingcang. Knowing full well it was gone, Xun Feng bluffed about the power of his brother's hellfire to boost morale, claiming it could single-handedly defeat thousands. He declared that the Moon Tribe were not cowards and were prepared to fight and die alongside their Moon Supreme, igniting the warriors' fervor for battle.
