Lord Changheng had already reached the River of Forgetfulness, but to his surprise, Lord Yunzhong caught up so quickly. Facing Lord Yunzhong’s questioning, Lord Changheng candidly admitted he liked Orchid. But in the end, he was no match for Lord Yunzhong and was locked inside the Haotian Tower. It was already late at night, and Jie Li was still wandering outside. Seeing this, Shang Que quickly stepped forward to question her.

Jie Li began to complain, saying she had been frightened today and couldn’t sleep, so she came out for a walk. Hearing that Jie Li was also an orphan, Shang Que felt sympathy. Finding a common topic, the two sat and talked for a long time. Shang Que felt he was fortunate to have met the Moon Supreme to whom he could be loyal all his life.

But later, the Immortal Tribe betrayed and drove out the Moon Tribe. Heartbroken, Salt Woman severed ties with Chong Hua and decided never to let her former lover sense her emotions again, crafting this Heart-Hiding Hairpin herself.

Apart from the ancient divine artifact the Nether Jade Ring, the Heart-Hiding Hairpin was the only artifact capable of concealing emotions. Orchid successfully escaped with Jie Li but ran into Die Yi. Orchid quickly handed the Bone Orchid to Jie Li and shielded her behind. At that moment, Dongfang Qingcang suddenly felt pain in his hand. Pulling back his sleeve, he discovered a fresh wound. A murderous aura surged in his eyes, as if ready to devour all three realms.

The Destiny Book fell from Orchid. Just as Die Yi reached to pick it up, her magical weapon suddenly turned to ash. Lord Changheng suddenly appeared in front of Orchid and rescued her. When Orchid woke up, she saw Lord Changheng sitting beside her. Looking around, she realized she had truly returned to the Arbiter Hall in Shuiyuntian.

She told Lord Changheng that Dongfang Qingcang had brought her to Cangyan Sea to repair a Destiny Book, but she didn’t know the mystery within it. Lord Changheng admitted he didn’t know either; only after repairing it could they uncover some answers. Orchid wasted no time and began fixing the Destiny Book. Lord Changheng walked out of the Arbiter Hall, a mysterious smile on his face, then flew out of the barrier to Haishi.

It turned out this Lord Changheng was actually Rong Hao in disguise, just so Orchid would willingly repair the Destiny Book. Soon after, Dongfang Qingcang arrived in Haishi. Worried about unexpected changes, Rong Hao quickly transformed back into Lord Changheng and returned to the illusion. In no time, Dongfang Qingcang also entered the illusion. But the illusion had many layers, and each layer had an Orchid. To break through, he had to find the real Orchid.

Orchid completed the Destiny Book and found a mortal’s name on it—Xie Wanqing. A sudden thought made her face pale. Upon learning the book was repaired, Lord Changheng quickly asked her for it. But Orchid wasn’t in a rush. Instead, she explained that she hadn’t replied because Dongfang Qingcang had imprisoned her, then asked if he was angry. Lord Changheng appeared unconcerned and said he wasn’t angry, just worried.

Orchid suddenly realized that this Lord Changheng was an imposter and quickly tried to flee. Seeing his identity exposed, the fake Changheng used demonic energy to trap her. Sensing Orchid was in danger, Dongfang Qingcang sped up and broke through the illusion just a second before Haishi Lord tried to escape. Orchid, taking advantage of Haishi Lord’s distraction, summoned the Destiny Book.

Dongfang Qingcang tried to remove the mask from Haishi Lord, but Die Yi suddenly arrived and, without a word, attacked Orchid. Dongfang Qingcang didn’t care about the mask anymore and rushed to shield Orchid from the attack. Knowing she had made a mistake, Orchid cautiously followed behind Dongfang Qingcang. When they reached the Soul Transformation Ruins, Dongfang Qingcang suddenly turned and grabbed her shoulders, furiously asking why she had disobeyed and run off.

Though the great demon before her was terrifying, Orchid could sense his worry and nodded obediently, promising not to run again. Dongfang Qingcang slowly released her, then clenched his fist and reduced the Soul Transformation Cauldron to ashes. The dark clouds and fog vanished, replaced by a warm, radiant light. Suddenly, Orchid collapsed from exhaustion, and Dongfang Qingcang had no choice but to take her into the forest to rest.

He asked Orchid to remove the Heart-Hiding Hairpin, but she refused. She told him she didn’t want him to peer into her thoughts. They began to argue. Meanwhile, Die Yi staggered into a cave with Rong Hao. The demon Taixu learned Dongfang Qingcang had hurt him and found the situation interesting. To thank Taixu for saving him, Rong Hao promised to bring the goddess Xi Yun to help him break the seal.
