Upon hearing the news, Director-General Hu Yuejin immediately instructed Han Jin to contact the Jiangnan police to locate Hu Rong and initiate a full-scale rescue operation, ensuring her safety above all else. Han Jin wasted no time, heading straight to Jiangnan City.
Meanwhile, Liu Ziguang, having received the location details, urgently drove to intercept Little Fei and Hu Rong. Inside the car, Hu Rong sensed the unusual tension. She attempted to make conversation, asking Little Fei if he had been with Mei Jie for many years and where his hometown was, but Little Fei remained grimly silent. It wasn't long before Hu Rong realized they were not on the correct route.
As Little Fei drove them towards a secluded area on the outskirts, he pulled out a handgun. He finally stopped the car, pointing the gun at Hu Rong's head as he sternly accused her, revealing her identity as a police officer. " You are a police officer," he stated. Han Jin sought guidance from Director-General Hu Yuejin and Director Song. Hu Rong confidently asserted her belief that she could successfully persuade Little Fei to cooperate, and her conviction ultimately swayed Director-General Hu Yuejin, who decided to endorse her plan. Hu Rong then directly addressed Little Fei, giving him a stark choice: "You have two choices. Either you atone for your crime and turn over a new leaf, or you face punishment. You are a sensible person.
You know what is right and wrong." After a long period of contemplation, Little Fei agreed to assist the police, but only on the condition that they guarantee his sister's safety. After Little Fei was taken away, Hu Rong sternly confronted Liu Ziguang, demanding to know what she would do if he had been killed by his reckless actions. They then found Little Fei in another room, in the throes of drug withdrawal and attempting to take drugs. Liu Ziguang swiftly intervened, snatching the narcotics from his hand. Hu Rong then pulled Little Fei into the bathroom, turning on the shower and dousing him with cold water to help him regain his senses.
Concurrently, Han Jin reported to Director-General Hu Yuejin and Director Song that intelligence indicated Lisa, the suspected mastermind behind the Taige Group, had left Thailand and was likely headed to China. Director-General Hu Yuejin instructed Han Jin to promptly notify the Jiangnan Public Security Bureau to coordinate a joint operation.
Soon after, news arrived from Jiangnan City that, due to the lack of a clear frontal photograph of Lisa and only a single fingerprint available, they could not definitively confirm her entry into the country. Consequently, Director-General Hu Yuejin ordered Han Jin to proceed to Jiangnan City and instructed Hu Rong to closely monitor all suspicious individuals within Golden Glory.
