Seeing the picture, Song Yuxi felt a pang of jealousy and questioned Su Nian Nian if she was secretly dating Gu Zi Chen. Su Nian Nian vigorously denied it, asserting that the incident was a complete accident and a total nightmare for her.
Su Nian Nian confided in Song Yuxi about the leaked photo, hoping she could leverage her friendship with Xiao Huang to have the pictures deleted. The Chairman, however, instructed his secretary to discreetly gather detailed information about the girl—her name, parents, major, and class—while the mother excitedly planned to meet her son’s new girlfriend the following weekend, emphasizing that any future daughter-in-law must be capable both socially and domestically. Later, Gu Zi Chen presented Su Nian Nian with a brand-new, expensive phone.
