When Su Nian Nian asked Ye Xing Yu if he had a name for the project, Gu Zi Chen interjected, suggesting "Wisdom Pouch."
Su Nian Nian then officially named the project "Wisdom Pouch" and encouraged everyone to dedicate themselves to its creation, despite some students' concerns about their ability to invent something as unenthusiastic learners. She assured them that they were young and capable, and the university would provide technical support. Meanwhile, Zhao Mingyuan was eating at a noodle shop when Yin Chuxia unexpectedly appeared and sat opposite him. An unspoken eating competition ensued.
When Zhao Mingyuan finished and left for his job at an auto repair shop, Yin Chuxia insisted on following him, curious to see the workshop. He reluctantly took her along. Later that night, Zhao Mingyuan asked his friend, Zhu Cheng, if they would have become friends with Yin Chuxia if she were a boy. Zhu Cheng reasoned that they wouldn't, as they had initially treated her like a boy and still hadn't become friends.
This answer brought visible relief to Zhao Mingyuan. After class, Gu Zi Chen attempted to speak with Su Nian Nian, but she avoided him, stating they had nothing to discuss. A secretary then approached Gu Zi Chen, informing him that his mother was worried and calling him home. Ye Xing Yu also urged Gu Zi Chen to go, offering to look after Su Nian Nian, who seemed to be in a bad mood.
Gu Zi Chen reluctantly left but later called Su Nian Nian, insisting they needed to talk to clear up any misunderstandings. He decided to wait for her near the campus. While waiting, he briefly entered a coffee shop, where he witnessed the owner, Xu Jia, being confronted by a woman who revealed she had funded the shop. Disgusted by their argument, Gu Zi Chen left and waited by the school gate.
The gatekeeper recognized him from a previous incident where he was drunk and mentioned that Su Nian Nian, whom he mistook for Gu Zi Chen's girlfriend, had taken care of him. Su Nian Nian, who had just arrived, quickly denied being his girlfriend before heading off to work at the coffee shop. At the coffee shop, Xu Jia presented Song Yuxi with flowers, romantically expressed his admiration, and asked her to be his girlfriend.
Overwhelmed by his sweet words, Song Yuxi accepted. After Su Nian Nian got into Gu Zi Chen's car, he pressed her about why she was keeping her distance. Su Nian Nian insisted his confession was one-sided and denied loving him. She explained that her emotional reaction when he was unconscious only indicated they were friends who had endured hardship together, not that she held romantic feelings.
She further elaborated that her current priority was to wholeheartedly prepare for the upcoming competition and help all her classmates, leaving no time for a relationship. When Gu Zi Chen persisted, Su Nian Nian became distressed and coldly asked him to respect her decision. Seeing her reaction, he backed down, promising to fully support her in the competition without forcing the issue of their relationship. Later, Song Yuxi, overjoyed with her new relationship, suggested a shopping trip to celebrate.
She tried to convince Su Nian Nian and Yin Chuxia to join. Su Nian Nian was initially hesitant, wanting to focus on her studies, but Song Yuxi and Yin Chuxia persuaded her, arguing that a new semester called for a new look and a fresh start, which could also help lift Su Nian Nian’s mood. Su Nian Nian agreed to go.
The friends went shopping, and after some coaxing, Su Nian Nian tried on a skirt, something she had never worn before. Back in the classroom, her dramatic transformation—featuring new clothes, a new hairstyle, and the absence of her usual glasses—stunned everyone. Students gathered around her, eager to ask questions about their studies. Su Nian Nian then announced the official start of creative development for the competition and encouraged everyone to participate.
Ye Xing Yu approached, offering to help answer questions, but the students' attention remained on Su Nian Nian. Observing them, Song Yuxi whispered that Su Nian Nian and Ye Xing Yu made a perfect, talented couple, which prompted other students to chant their support for them to be together. Annoyed, Gu Zi Chen left the classroom, changed clothes, and returned wearing sunglasses. He grandly announced his academic achievements, including studying abroad and speaking seven languages, offering to answer any questions.
However, the students remained focused on Su Nian Nian. Suddenly, Mr. Jiang Mu stumbled into the noisy classroom. Having lost his glasses and struggling with extreme nearsightedness, he mistook the commotion for gambling and demanded order. Without his glasses, he failed to recognize Su Nian Nian and questioned why a student from another class was present. This sparked laughter among the students, who informed him of his mistake. Approaching her, Mr. Jiang Mu was astonished by her beauty. He awkwardly praised her new look and instructed her to continue guiding the students.
