Following Gu Renqi's heartfelt confession, Shi Shuangjiao feels as if she is truly falling in love, a sensation she finds incredible. Having completed his week of "training" with Gu Renqi, Lu Xian sends him a message, urging him to treat Shi Shuangjiao well. Gu Renqi replies that ensuring Shi Shuangjiao's happiness is now the most important thing in his life. The next morning, Shi Shuangjiao wakes to find Gu Renqi beside her.
Believing she is dreaming, she playfully pinches his cheek, only for him to pinch her back, proving it's reality. Flustered, she hides under the covers. Gu Renqi, having already made breakfast, affectionately coaxes her out of bed and even accompanies her while she brushes her teeth, instructing her on the proper technique. Their morning radiates the warmth of a new romance. Meanwhile, Shi Junjie finds a dejected Lu Xian and assumes he is heartbroken.
Lu Xian clarifies that his affection for Shi Shuangjiao was a one-sided crush and not a real relationship. Later, Shi Shuangjiao discovers Gu Renqi's notebook filled with "sweet tips for romance"—his detailed strategies for winning her over. Amused, she reads his notes aloud, including plans to buy couple's items and even kiss during tooth brushing. A flustered Gu Renqi tries to snatch the notebook, leading to a playful chase that ends in a warm embrace.
During a live stream, Wang Qianqian addresses her admirer, confirming she is single and encouraging him to be brave and confess. She emphasizes that she values integrity and responsibility over superficial qualities. Watching this, a hopeful Li Dongxian prepares to go to her, but he is intercepted by the police. Jiang Wenchi had reported Li Dongxian for assault.
To protect Wang Qianqian's reputation from being dragged into the matter, Li Dongxian takes full responsibility for punching Jiang Wenchi over "unpleasant words," and accepts a seven-day detention. Gu Renqi initially refuses the "dirty" food, but she distracts him by pointing at a plane and shoves a chicken leg in his mouth. To his surprise, he finds it acceptable. He then hesitantly eats the hamburger she gives him, making a visible effort to overcome his aversion. Upon arriving at their destination late at night, Shi Shuangjiao suggests staying overnight.
At the hotel, the receptionist assumes they are a couple needing one room, but Shuangjiao quickly clarifies they are on business and require two. However, Gu Renqi deems his room unsatisfactory due to its cleaning standards. When Shi Shuangjiao offers to switch, he refuses and pulls her into his room instead. He reveals he had anticipated this, having already disinfected the room for her, brought her favorite aromatherapy, and even packed his own bedding from home.
He then persuades her to watch a horror movie with him. During the film, he is visibly frightened, much to her amusement. Afterward, as a tired Shi Shuangjiao tries to leave, Gu Renqi stops her, insisting she stay in his room by making the excuse that her assigned room isn't clean enough.
