One day, Shen Li and Xing Zhi were chatting leisurely in their small courtyard when a knock came at the door. A serpent lady came to deliver an invitation to Shen Li and Xing Zhi, inviting them to bring a starstone from Tianwaitian to attend her wedding. Shen Li was very curious.

This time, Xing Zhi and Shen Li intentionally acted even more intimate in front of Mu Zichun. Mu Zichun thought the serpent lady had been blind, believing she had fallen for someone two-timing her.

Enraged, he was about to shoot an arrow to seriously wound Xing Zhi, but luckily Xing Zhi dodged quickly. This reaction confirmed for Xing Zhi that Mu Zichun indeed cared for the serpent lady. Xing Zhi then carried out the next step: he had King Bicang knock the serpent lady unconscious and publicly announced that King Bicang had killed her.

Hearing the news after having been driven down the mountain, Mu Zichun immediately rushed back and fought with all his might to rescue the serpent lady. When he saw she was still alive, he was so overwhelmed that he wept. The serpent lady finally understood that Mu Zichun had feelings for her, and the wedding proceeded as planned.
