Shen Li and Fu Sheng engaged in a fierce battle. After being repaired and reforged by Xing Zhi, the Chi Yu Spear had become even sharper. Lingzun rushed over and stopped Shen Li from wasting more time fighting Fu Sheng, urging her to leave quickly. Fu Sheng began to release even more chimeras, summoning them to launch a massacre against the Spirit Realm.

Lingzun used all her strength to push Shen Li out of Xu Tianyuan, trying to protect her from falling into the trap. How could Shen Li allow her master to fall into danger? She returned to Xu Tianyuan to confront Fu Sheng once again. All the chimeras obeyed Fu Sheng’s command and launched attacks against Shen Li. Meanwhile, Xing Zhi continued to repair the painting scroll in the Immortal Realm, trying to purify Xu Tianyuan from afar.

Originally, Shen Li had the upper hand against Fu Sheng, but because Fu Sheng was inhabiting Mo Fang’s body, Shen Li hesitated to strike, unwilling to hurt him. As a result, Fu Sheng seized the opportunity and struck Shen Li into the formation core. Fu Sheng eagerly followed her into the formation core, wanting to snatch the inner core. However, he was momentarily restrained by Mo Fang’s remaining vitality.

In his moment of clarity, Mo Fang begged Shen Li to kill him quickly, so Fu Sheng would no longer be able to use him as a puppet for evil. Tormented to the brink of madness by Fu Sheng’s desires, Mo Fang confessed to Shen Li that fate had made him Liu Ming’s child, but his deep feelings prevented him from ever harming her. In the end, Mo Fang took Shen Li’s Chi Yu Spear and ended his own life.

Xing Zhi realized that remote purification of Xu Tianyuan was weakening and questioned whether the heavens no longer trusted him to bear the heavy responsibility of protecting the Three Realms. But he refused to resign to fate and immediately flew personally to Xu Tianyuan. At the formation core of Xu Tianyuan, Shen Li encountered Mo Fang’s father, Liu Ming, and also saw Feng Lai. After a thousand years, Feng Lai was still imprisoned by Liu Ming.

Now, in a moment of clarity, Feng Lai still missed Liu Yu. Liu Ming deliberately provoked him, saying that Liu Yu had long since died and that only by breaking the seal could he see her again. Feng Lai, who had never cared about anything else, could not bear the thought of Liu Yu being in trouble. In a fit of emotion, he broke through the barrier and soared into the sky.

Back then, Xing Zhi had promised to protect Liu Yu, but now, that promise was not being fulfilled. Xing Zhi trapped the furious Feng Lai within a barrier and stepped inside to face the crazed Feng Lai alone. Shen Li, sensing danger from within the formation core, desperately found an exit and escaped, just in time to block Feng Lai’s fatal blow and save Xing Zhi’s life. Xing Zhi was seriously injured, blood flowing from the corner of his mouth.

Even though Shen Li had just saved him, he remained as calm as ever, even jokingly saying he had just been taught a lesson by his future father-in-law. Rain began to fall in Shen Li’s heart. It turned out that Xing Zhi had known her origins long ago. Even so, Xing Zhi had chosen to guard that secret, worrying about her safety, willing to be misunderstood by everyone, and determined to protect her in Tianwaitian without ever revealing the truth. With a gentle smile, Xing Zhi explained that what he liked was Shen Li herself, and no matter what her identity was, he would always accept her.
