The Celestial Sovereign had already perceived Xing Zhi’s intentions and led many celestial envoys to admonish him, urging him to remember the heavy burden he carried and to stay true to his original purpose, seeking the welfare of all beings across the three realms. Xing Zhi had expected some opposition, but he had not anticipated it would be so intense.

One heavenly general began listing Xing Zhi’s past offenses, saying that after Shen Li’s previous accident, Xing Zhi had gone alone to the East Sea and frozen the entire sea for ten days. Later, in a fit of anger, he had set the nearby forests ablaze—both acts were considered defiance against the heavens.

Xing Zhi willingly took all the blame upon himself, declaring that these were actions he alone had committed and had nothing to do with the King of Bi Cang. The Celestial Realm had never approved of their relationship. All the immortals knelt, pleading with Xing Zhi to have mercy on the suffering of the three realms. With stones continuously falling from beyond the heavens, they desperately needed a deity to suppress the chaos.

Despite all the pleading, the immortals remained stubbornly ignorant. In front of everyone’s eyes, Xing Zhi took Shen Li’s hand and walked away without hesitation. Xing Zhi took Shen Li to Tianwaitian. On the way, Shen Li showed some hesitation, but Xing Zhi firmly told her that she must dare to face her true feelings. If they compromised now, it would be even harder to be together in the future.

At Tianwaitian, Xing Zhi showed Shen Li the array that was being used to repair the breaches in the Celestial Realm. This process involved restoring a painting, and wherever the brush touched, even the tiniest cracks were filled, gradually returning the painting to its original perfection. Shen Li noticed that Xing Zhi was struggling to maintain his strength during the repair. At a critical moment, blood began to seep from the corner of his mouth.

Shen Li quickly protected the hand with which Xing Zhi was holding the brush, helping him complete the repair plan. Shen Li realized that Xing Zhi was beginning to suffer heavenly backlash for his defiance. Now isolated and betrayed, this was not the outcome she wished to see. After careful consideration, she decided to leave Xing Zhi.

The Spirit Realm had always relied on the Celestial Realm’s protection, and perhaps letting Xing Zhi go and returning things to how they were at the beginning would be best. Xing Zhi refused. After hearing the news of Shen Li’s sacrifice at the East Sea, he had even stopped eating and had already experienced the pain of losing her once. He would not let go again.

Seeing that Shen Li was still determined to leave, Xing Zhi immediately set up a barrier at Tianwaitian, protecting it with his own heart vein. If Shen Li forced her way through, Xing Zhi would suffer severe backlash. Fu Rong Jun learned that Xing Zhi and Shen Li had returned to the Celestial Realm. He supported Xing Zhi’s actions.

With stones continuously falling at Tianwaitian, Xing Zhi gave Fu Rong Jun some of his power to help him assist those in need. Rou Ya, who had bravely broken into the Celestial Realm to retrieve Shen Li’s Chiyu Spear, found that Lingzun did not oppose her. After all, the Chiyu Spear originally belonged to the Spirit Clan, and naturally, they hoped Shen Li’s belongings could be reclaimed.

After several days, Rou Ya returned to the Spirit Clan, gasping for breath, to report to Lingzun that Shen Li was still alive. Lingzun was overjoyed. You Lan, upon hearing that the Celestial Sovereign strongly opposed Shen Li and Xing Zhi’s relationship, secretly informed the Celestial Sovereign that Shen Li was trapped at Tianwaitian. However, entering Tianwaitian was not something easily done, and the Celestial Sovereign was frightened.

Just then, Lingzun also arrived at the Celestial Realm with Rou Ya to demand Shen Li’s return. Lingzun, along with the Celestial Sovereign and You Lan, tried to find a way to rescue Shen Li and bring her back to the Spirit Realm. They searched for an entrance to Tianwaitian together. You Lan vaguely remembered that when she was young, Xing Zhi had brought her there for healing, but she did not know how to ascend to Tianwaitian.

She carefully tested several formations, hoping to find the key mechanism. Despite their efforts, they failed to find a way in, and You Lan had no choice but to lead them back.
