Xiao Qiushui gazed at the Sword of Changge, memories of his family and childhood flooding his mind. He recalled his father, Xiao Xilou, saying, "Broken swords can be remade, and wilted flowers can bloom again. With the body broken and bones shattered, I can still start over."

He remembered his brother, Yiren, teaching him swordplay, his mother making him his favorite noodles, and the solemn family oath they all took to uphold their parents' aspirations and bring renown to Huanhua Swordplay. Liang Dou, witnessing this moment, congratulated Xiao Qiushui, declaring him the new leader of the Huanhua Sect, remarking that only Xiao Qiushui, by recovering the broken blades of its fallen members, had truly fulfilled the prophecy of "reforging the broken sword."

Xiao Qiushui vowed to uphold his ancestors' legacy, and Liang Dou reassured him that he would continue searching for a way to heal his meridians. Xiao Qiushui expressed his profound gratitude for Liang Dou's help and kindness. Meanwhile, Tang Fang returned to the Tang Sect, immediately seeking her father, Tang Shunyao, for a method to heal shattered meridians.

Tang Shunyao had already heard of Xiao Qiushui's condition through widespread inquiries made by Liang Dou and surmised Tang Fang's feelings for him. He revealed that only Master Dayin possessed such a healing ability. Tang Fang then questioned her father about Liu Suifeng, asking why he wasn't kept in the Tang Sect and allowed to grow up there.

Tang Shunyao explained that intermarriage with outsiders was a grave taboo for the Tang Sect, and to secure his position as the first elder, he had been forced to sever ties with Liu Suifeng and his mother, a decision he regretted deeply. He noted that Tang Fang now faced a similar dilemma, as Madam Tang insisted she marry Tang Song.

Despite the complex family politics, Tang Fang firmly stated that Xiao Qiushui was her friend and Tang Rou's close confidant, and she must save him. Seeing her unwavering resolve, Tang Shunyao finally disclosed Master Dayin's residence at the nearby Biechuan Temple, asking her to send her friends to find him. Tang Fang promised to deliver the message to Liang Dou's residence and not stray.

Back at Liang Dou's residence, Xiao Qiushui experienced a profound realization, recognizing that everything in this world was real and that he and Xiao Mingming were one and the same. He speculated that the Demon Codex had intertwined the timelines of two worlds, granting them shared memories. Recalling that he had set the Book of Oblivion's location in the sword tomb within his original system, he opened a stone coffin.

He noticed some crossed-out characters on the coffin wall and found a crack, which he pried open with Madam Wu's dagger, accidentally breaking the blade. Inside, he discovered a Hero Token imprinted with three distinct fingerprints, which he identified as belonging to Tianzheng, Taichan, and Zhichen. He mused that this must be the true Hero Token, rumored to contain the Book of Oblivion, and wondered if it required a specific command to unlock its secrets.

An attendant then informed him that Tang Fang had sent word that a method to heal his meridians had been found with Master Dayin at Biechuan Temple. Liu Suifeng, recovering from his injuries inflicted by Xiao Qiushui's Shaolin and Wudang internal energy, was confronted by Qu Hanshan. Qu Hanshan accused Liu Suifeng of rebelling against Li Chenzhou for killing the Shaolin and Wudang leaders at the Xiao family residence, an act that had brought immense trouble to the Power Gang.

Liu Suifeng maintained he was merely following Li Chenzhou's orders. Qu Hanshan, displaying Li Chenzhou's token, declared Liu Suifeng a traitor and attempted to apprehend him, but Liu Suifeng stated he would go willingly if summoned by Li Chenzhou. When Liu Suifeng met Li Chenzhou, Li Chenzhou showed him a painting they had created at the Power Gang's inception, reminiscing about how Liu Suifeng had chosen to paint pines instead of a mountain like the other six brothers.

Li Chenzhou expressed disappointment, stating that Liu Suifeng's capabilities should have entitled him to paint the tallest mountain. He then confronted Liu Suifeng about the casual killing of Tianzheng and Taichan, two martial world icons, which had made Shaolin and Wudang hostile enemies of the Power Gang and led to White Phoenix's death. Liu Suifeng explained that he had received an order, supposedly from Li Chenzhou, to intercept and kill the two leaders.

He admitted his failure to retrieve the Hero Token had made him eager to atone, leading him to fall prey to a masterful impersonation of Li Chenzhou. Liu Suifeng pleaded that he never doubted Li Chenzhou's commands and had no rebellious intent. Li Chenzhou, however, was disappointed that after 15 years, Liu Suifeng could not discern the impersonation, attributing it to overconfidence and a forgotten purpose of the Power Gang. Acknowledging his fault, Liu Suifeng asked for punishment.

Li Chenzhou then delivered a powerful palm strike, declaring that, whether Liu Suifeng lived or died, he would no longer be a part of the Power Gang. After receiving word from Tang Fang, Xiao Qiushui announced his immediate departure for Biechuan Temple to find Master Dayin. Liang Dou cautioned him that the area was volatile, as Heavenly King Zhu's faction and the Power Gang were locked in conflict near Mount Yunxia.

Liang Dou explained that Heavenly King Zhu was capitalizing on the Power Gang's recent conflicts with Shaolin and Wudang and their rigid rules, drawing in rogues and enemies of the Power Gang, thereby seizing much of their territory. Both factions were also actively searching for Shao Liulei, who years ago had betrayed Heavenly King Zhu during the Battle of Mount Wuxing, helping Yan Kuangtu escape and vanishing with him.

Liang Dou suggested that the warring factions were seeking not just Shao Liulei and the Supreme Elixir, but also clues to Yan Kuangtu's whereabouts through him. Xiao Qiushui understood the perilous situation and resolved to rescue Master Dayin from the impending chaos. Deng Yuhan volunteered to accompany Xiao Qiushui, offering his knowledge of formations to navigate the temple's illusions. Liang Dou, knowing Master Dayin's reclusive nature, provided a letter of introduction to ensure their entry.

Liang Dou also announced his intention to unite the various sects in the face of the martial world's growing peril. Meanwhile, Liu Suifeng continued to kneel outside Li Chenzhou's door, seeking forgiveness. The Blade King, who enforced gang rules, reiterated Li Chenzhou's order for Liu Suifeng to leave and threatened him with his blade. Eventually, Zhao Shirong approached Liu Suifeng, telling him she couldn't intercede for him given the gravity of his mistake.

Liu Suifeng begged for death rather than exile, proclaiming his life meaningless without Li Chenzhou. Zhao Shirong advised him to rise, not to beg for forgiveness, but to wait for an opportunity to prove himself. Xiao Qiushui and Deng Yuhan arrived at Biechuan Temple, finding Master Dayin sweeping the grounds. Xiao Qiushui respectfully requested Master Dayin's help with meridian healing.

Master Dayin, noting the widespread strife on Mount Yunxia, initially refused, stating that in such chaotic times, survival was merely luck and that he would not treat Xiao Qiushui. Xiao Qiushui, undeterred, urged Master Dayin to evacuate the temple immediately, warning that the fighting between the Power Gang and Heavenly King Zhu would soon engulf the monastery.

Master Dayin dismissed the warning as a trick to gain his help, but soon a disciple reported that venomous snakes had appeared en masse around the temple. Xiao Qiushui quickly deduced that this was the Power Gang's scouting method. He instructed Deng Yuhan to escort Master Dayin and his disciples to Liang Dou's residence for safety, while he chose to remain, explaining that this dangerous gamble was his only chance to avenge his family, regardless of the outcome.

Upon hearing Xiao Qiushui declare his name as the third son of the Xiao family, Master Dayin recalled the recent tragedy that befell the Xiaos. He realized the depths of Xiao Qiushui's determination and decided to treat him. Despite the excruciating pain of the meridian reconnection, Xiao Qiushui endured, driven by his unwavering commitment to revenge. After his rapid healing, Master Dayin advised Xiao Qiushui to retreat from the world for several years to fully recover.

However, he then told him that the martial world needed warriors more than hermits and offered another piece of information: for several nights, he had heard a peculiar crying sound, like a cat or a human, coming from the temple's side chamber, suggesting it might be the hiding place of Shao Liulei. Xiao Qiushui, accompanied by Deng Yuhan who promised to await his return, quickly located Shao Liulei.

Shao Liulei, distressed and wary, questioned Xiao Qiushui's identity, demanding to know if he was with the Power Gang or Heavenly King Zhu. Xiao Qiushui invoked the name of Yan Kuangtu, claiming to be his elder brother, and stated that Yan Kuangtu regretted giving Shao Liulei only the Yang pill of the Supreme Elixir, causing him immense torment from the exploding Yang energy within. Xiao Qiushui offered to cure Shao Liulei's internal injuries if he returned the Supreme Elixir.

Shao Liulei, believing Xiao Qiushui's deception, presented the Yin pill, recounting how Yan Kuangtu had kept it for years but now, after their supposed reunion, intended to give it to Xiao Qiushui. As Xiao Qiushui prepared to take the elixir, members of both the Power Gang and Heavenly King Zhu's faction appeared in the courtyard, their previous skirmishes escalating into a full-blown confrontation. Just as the factions were about to clash and Xiao Qiushui reached for the elixir, Song Mingzhu dramatically intervened, snatching the Supreme Elixir from Shao Liulei's hand.
