After Guan Wen and Jing Zhiqiu arrived, they learned from He Yifei that Chen Xuanxuan had discovered Lin Hao's affair. Guan Wen was very worried about Chen Xuanxuan's condition. They knocked on the door, but there was no response. When they finally entered the room, they found Chen Xuanxuan lying on the bed with earphones in her ears, watching news related to divorce. She was surprised to see He Yifei break in. Chen Xuanxuan had made up her mind to get a divorce, and now she felt there was no turning back.

Jing Zhiqiu and Guan Wen encouraged Chen Xuanxuan, as they knew she would grow stronger from this experience. Meanwhile, many colleagues in the office were spreading rumors about Guan Wen and Ding Ning's relationship. Surprisingly, it was Guan Wen's male subordinate who was behind these rumors. They asked if she had any ambitions and suggested that she might find self-fulfillment in her work as well. These words struck a chord with Jing Zhiqiu as she felt bored and lonely at home while her son was on summer vacation at her grandparents' place, and Wang Liren was busy with work.

Guan Wen's subordinate had already been bribed by Lei Zong, who wanted to observe Guan Wen and report her actions back to him. He intended to have a position in Lei Zong's department, but Lei Zong didn't fulfill his promise this time. However, Lei Zong's true intentions were recorded by Guan Wen's subordinate. When Zheng Dong wanted to reprimand Guan Wen and Ding Ning, they presented the recording, putting Lei Zong in a tight spot. Zheng Dong had no choice but to promise to handle the matter properly.

Lin Hao insincerely approached Chen Xuanxuan, hoping to put an end to the situation. Chen Xuanxuan asked him to call Xiao Yun to clarify their relationship in person, but Lin Hao kept making excuses. Chen Xuanxuan directly handed him divorce papers, and he even said that she wouldn't find anyone better if she left him. Lin Hao continued to berate her, still trying to sort out their relationship. Chen Xuanxuan asked Lin Hao to sign the contract as soon as possible, or else she would sue for divorce. Guan Wen and Jing Zhiqiu planned to go home to celebrate with Chen Xuanxuan.

Lin Hao moved all of Chen Xuanxuan's belongings out and even invited his aunt and cousin over. He wanted to use the excuse of paying half the mortgage to occupy the house. Chen Xuanxuan naturally refused, as the house was purchased by her parents before they got married. Lin Hao persisted, and his aunt and cousin wanted to take away valuable items. However, these were all bought by Chen Xuanxuan herself. She grabbed a baseball bat and smashed everything, shocking Lin Hao and his relatives.

Left with no other choice, Chen Xuanxuan went to the café feeling defeated. She couldn't help but cry, realizing that Lin Hao never truly loved her in these seven years. Chen Xuanxuan sobbed uncontrollably, and He Yifei heard everything. He went over and hugged her, assuring her that everything would be okay.
