Zhong Zhen came to Wen Shaoqing’s house for a meal and to check on Cong Rong. Wen Shaoqing had cooked a lot, but Cong Rong had trouble using her injured hand. Wen Shaoqing wanted her to stay at his place, but Cong Rong said Zhong Zhen could take care of her. Wen Shaoqing insisted that she shouldn’t disrupt Zhong Zhen’s studies and told him to go back and revise. Zhong Zhen understood and immediately sided with Wen Shaoqing.
Cong Rong knew she had been betrayed but still wanted to return home, saying she could take care of herself. But Wen Shaoqing wouldn’t give her the chance and kept her there. With her arm in a cast, Cong Rong found everything difficult. After finally finishing her nighttime routine, she ran into Wen Shaoqing. He told her it was better she stayed at his place for easier care.
When he saw she couldn’t tie her robe belt, he offered to help. At first, she resisted, saying she was about to sleep, but Wen Shaoqing insisted. He carefully helped her and deliberately got close, tying a tight knot and saying she could come to him if she needed help taking it off. Embarrassed, Cong Rong hurried back to her room, while Wen Shaoqing laughed secretly.
Watching Cong Rong dry her hair one-handed, Wen Shaoqing flirted with her until she asked him to help. Wen Rang, lost in thought over Zhou Chengcheng, stared blankly at his phone and even sent her a message by “accident. ” Seeing her social media post, he thought she was really getting married. He called Wen Shaoqing in a panic. Wen Shaoqing teased him—it turned out the “groom” was just a Korean celebrity. Wen Rang got flustered, acted crazy, and scared the renovation boss away from doing business there.
Zhou Chengcheng came at the boss’s request. Wen Rang seized the chance to confess, hugged her, and kissed her. They happily got back together. Zhou Chengcheng brought Cong Rong a set of sexy lingerie, which Wen Shaoqing saw. Embarrassed, Cong Rong quickly went home.
