Upon discovering his room window open, Liang Muze contacted Rao Feng, who brought a team to investigate his home. Although no abnormalities were found inside, Rao Feng, prioritizing caution, decided to extend the search to the surrounding streets. Later, Liang Muze asked Xia Chu if she had opened the master bedroom window before leaving, but she could not recall. Liang Muze also showed her a video of his cat, Er Miao, mentioning how much he missed it.

Xia Chu, whose hair had become very dirty due to her leg injury preventing her from washing it for days, asked Liang Muze for help. Initially reluctant and concerned about her leg injury, Liang Muze eventually assisted her, leading to a playful exchange as he washed her hair. The intimate atmosphere was briefly interrupted when Liang Muze’s mother, Mu Min, called.

Liang Muze explained that Xia Chu had not moved out and was, in fact, staying at the military camp for care. He then handed the phone to Xia Chu, who cooperated by assuring Mu Min that Liang Muze was treating her well. Liang Muze then asked his mother to stop sending "ridiculous photos" to the camp.

Meanwhile, Mi Gu’s 3D printing project fell through, so she conceived a new idea: a documentary following doctors, with Zhang Yichi as the primary subject. Her boss praised the concept, and Mi Gu met with Zhang Yichi to discuss the program. Zhang Yichi expressed willingness to cooperate, provided Mi Gu presented a concrete plan that he could help coordinate with the hospital. Mi Gu, however, was distracted and asked about Zhuo Ran’s health.

Zhang Yichi explained that Zhuo Ran’s condition was manageable when dormant but could be very dangerous during a flare-up. He emphasized that complete cure was unlikely, and the best approach was to minimize stress triggers. Concerned, Mi Gu abruptly left Zhang Yichi at the restaurant, rushing to find Zhuo Ran to remind him to take care of himself. During his investigation into Sang Kun’s death, Rao Feng focused on the sapphire embedded in Sang Kun’s walking stick.

Expert analysis revealed it was a rare Kashmir Cornflower Blue Sapphire, last publicly sold two years prior at a Sotheby’s auction in Hong Kong. It was purchased for 9. 21 million HKD by Liu Zhengmin, a Chinese mainland businessman also known as Xiong. This same Xiong was the man who had been the sugar daddy of Zhou Lan, who had died by suicide in the Jiao Tong University district.

Rao Feng learned that Xiong had started as a cigarette smuggler in the early nineties, served seven years in prison, and then monopolized the herbal medicine market across five provinces in Southeast China, with businesses extending into Thailand and Vietnam. Recognizing that Xiong was connected to two murder cases, Rao Feng identified him as a crucial breakthrough in uncovering the identity of the male body found in the villa. Liang Muze’s Special Forces Brigade began preparing for combat readiness.

Despite training in heavy rain all afternoon, Liang Muze still made sure the old squad leader in the kitchen prepared a special salt-free soup for Xia Chu. When he brought the soup to her, he found Xia Chu precariously balancing on a stool to reach a suitcase. Rushing forward, he caught her just as she was about to fall, an act that deeply impressed Xia Chu. Just then, Tian Yong arrived with more food.

During dinner, Tian Yong initially commented that the soup was bland, but after a subtle glance from Liang Muze, he quickly changed his mind, praising its taste. Feeling like a "hundred-watt light bulb," Tian Yong soon excused himself, citing urgent business. Xia Chu thanked Liang Muze for his care over the past few days. Liang Muze then asked for an apology regarding the flower incident.

Xia Chu admitted being a bit nosy but still didn't understand why he was so upset. Liang Muze explained that his relationship with Xiao Jun's mother was based solely on his commitment as Luo Liang's comrade, protecting them as a father figure until Xiao Jun could stand on his own, and not based on any romantic feelings. Xia Chu finally understood, apologizing for her misunderstanding and admitting her "self-importance."

She explained that she simply didn't want two people who cared about each other to miss out, as that kind of regret was "quite disheartening." Liang Muze, however, stated firmly that he would never allow himself to miss out on someone he loved. After dinner, as Xia Chu was packing her clothes, Liang Muze mentioned that his mother wanted a joint photo of them.

He casually snapped one, but Xia Chu, finding it ugly and taken from an unflattering "death angle," took his phone. She meticulously arranged the setting, took numerous carefully posed photos, and edited them. The close proximity between them made them appear like a genuine couple. Xia Chu had planned to return to the hospital the next day, but Liang Muze wanted her to stay longer, hoping to improve her physical fitness to prevent future injuries.

He applied to the Brigade Commander to allow Xia Chu to remain in the Troop as a non-staff member to participate in training. Despite her recent leg recovery, Xia Chu was utterly exhausted by Liang Muze’s rigorous "devil training," which included running and pistol practice. One night, after Xia Chu had gone to bed, heavy rain began again. She was woken by the sound of assembly outside. The continuous rain had caused a severe flood disaster.

Liang Muze rallied his team to head to the disaster zone for relief efforts. When Xia Chu rushed out, Liang Muze was already on the vehicle, preparing to depart. She could only salute him and urge him to take care. After Liang Muze left, Xia Chu returned to the hospital. It was the day of Zhuo Ran’s cooperation signing ceremony with the hospital, and Mi Gu arrived with her team to film the event.

Xia Chu tried to invite Mi Gu to dinner that evening, but Mi Gu, eager to spend time with Zhuo Ran, did not reply to Xia Chu’s message. Zhuo Ran later invited Mi Gu to dinner, but just as Mi Gu was feeling pleased, Zhuo Ran suggested inviting Xia Chu and Zhang Yichi as well. Displeased by this, Mi Gu quickly lied, claiming she already had plans with Zhang Yichi.

The signing ceremony itself highlighted the establishment of a special fund to develop 3D medicine production, organ printing, and auxiliary instrument printing, with the belief that these advancements would usher in a new era of personalized medicine.
