Tian Jingzhi discovered that the CEO of Sheng Tian Entertainment was her maternal uncle, Moon Bai. She asked Feng Dongdong to leave so she could speak with him alone. Tian Jingzhi chastised Moon Bai for not telling her earlier, to which he responded that he wanted to give her a surprise. Tian Jingzhi was initially reluctant to sign with her uncle’s company, but upon hearing about the generous signing bonus, she immediately agreed.
Moon Bai explained that her grandfather also invested, making it a family business, and while her grandfather might want to restrict her career, it would be difficult to enforce. He also pointed out that with her hypersomnia, signing with them would be a win-win, offering her the best resources, relieving her grandfather’s worries, and helping her reach the top of her career. Meanwhile, Xue Lingqiao went to the clinic where Dr. Jiang worked, only to find he had already resigned.
Separately, Bai Lu, who is revealed to be the Bat of the S Organization, secretly met with Dr. Jiang. Bai Lu had covertly entered Fang Xiao’s apartment, hacked her computer, and set up an interception system.
