Tiffany admitted she had said things that could mislead Luo Tianran but asserted that she did nothing wrong, especially considering her efforts for Jin Zeyi's career. She pressed him, questioning why he would confront her in the middle of the night.
She observed that he seemed lost and out of control, no longer himself. Jin Zeyi countered, asking if his lack of effort or the company's resources were the issue, reminding her that he helped secure top directors and brands. He questioned if she had become too accustomed to being a superstar and forgotten his origins seven years ago.
Tiffany claimed that he was now willing to discard all her hard work simply because he had fallen in love with Luo Tianran. Jin Zeyi reminded her that she used to be his sole supporter, believing in him and having his back when everyone else doubted him.
