After a conversation with Tiffany, Jin Zeyi remained preoccupied, worried that Luo Tianran believed he had used her for a publicity stunt related to their ski trip. Tiffany, meanwhile, confirmed that Director Guan had decided to cast Jin Zeyi in the lead role for his new drama, expressing her apologies and asking for his trust in their professional relationship. Jin Zeyi, despite his lingering suspicions about her methods, reluctantly agreed.
As Jin Zeyi prepared to leave, still intending to go home and clarify things with Luo Tianran, Tiffany suddenly coughed up blood and collapsed. Jin Zeyi immediately rushed her to the hospital. There, he learned from Atay that Tiffany suffered from acute gastric hemorrhage due to overfatigue, a condition stemming from a long-standing gastric ulcer, and needed to be hospitalized for observation.
