Jin Xiaoqin accidentally discovered the prenuptial agreement between Luo Tianran and Jin Zeyi, revealing their secret fake marriage. She used this information to threaten them, demanding that Jin Zeyi promote her products on his social media and that Luo Tianran forgive the money Jin Xiaoqin owed her for the apartment. Luo Tianran adamantly refused these demands, accusing Jin Xiaoqin of being too presumptuous. Jin Zeyi, maintaining his composure, intervened.
He offered Jin Xiaoqin an assistant position at their company, proposing that a portion of her salary be used to repay Luo Tianran. Though initially hesitant about the assistant role, Jin Xiaoqin agreed after learning it would allow her to meet many celebrities, not wanting to miss out on any potential benefits. Shortly after Jin Xiaoqin left, Yun Shu, who had been listening from outside the door, knocked to return Luo Tianran's purse, which she had forgotten.
Jin Zeyi noticed Yun Shu's presence and grew visibly jealous. Later, Tiffany met with Luo Tianran, still unaware that Luo Tianran had regained her memory. Tiffany reiterated that Luo Tianran and Jin Zeyi’s relationship was purely a contractual marriage. Luo Tianran calmly asserted that her only goal was to reclaim her house and that she had no interest in Jin Zeyi, fully aware of his relationship with Tiffany, thus posing no threat to them.
Tiffany then realized that Luo Tianran had indeed recovered her memories. Luo Tianran initially maintained a cool demeanor. However, upon learning that Jin Zeyi was handling Jin Xiaoqin's onboarding procedures, Luo Tianran's attitude brightened considerably. As a gesture of gratitude, she excitedly offered to treat Jin Zeyi to a movie, emphasizing that he shouldn't be late. Meanwhile, Tiffany was actively pursuing a new movie role for Jin Zeyi with the renowned Director Guan Wenjie.
She presented Jin Zeyi with the script, urging him to study it thoroughly and meet Director Guan's team that very night. Jin Zeyi, whose primary focus was music, expressed reluctance to take on a film project, especially since he already had plans for the evening, having forgotten about the Director Guan meeting due to his movie date with Luo Tianran. Nevertheless, he reluctantly accepted the script, as he had just asked Tiffany for a favor regarding Jin Xiaoqin's employment.
Jin Zeyi then tried to review the script with his assistant, A Tai, but was interrupted by a call from Luo Tianran, reminding him not to stand her up. Jin Zeyi excused himself abruptly. As the meeting time approached, A Tai made numerous unsuccessful attempts to contact Jin Zeyi. Tiffany grew increasingly agitated and disappointed by Jin Zeyi's absence. Just then, Ling Xiquan, a popular actor and Jin Zeyi's primary competitor, arrived unexpectedly.
He approached Tiffany, proposing a collaboration, eager to seize the opportunity with Director Guan's new film. Despite her previous disdain for him, Jin Zeyi's repeated failures to prioritize his career due to Luo Tianran had deeply frustrated Tiffany. While Jin Zeyi was at the cinema with Luo Tianran, deliberately arriving late to avoid attracting attention, Tiffany attempted to stall Director Guan.
She used Jin Zeyi's new team and schedule mix-ups as an excuse for his delay, even having Cheng Shasha, a new artist, join them to further buy time. When Jin Zeyi still didn't show up after hours, a furious Tiffany discreetly called Ling Xiquan, giving him the restaurant's address. She then suggested moving to the restaurant for dinner, creating a seemingly accidental encounter between Director Guan and Ling Xiquan.
Back at home, as Jin Zeyi and Luo Tianran were watching TV, Luo Tianran commented on a show, dismissing it as not Director Guan's work. This ironically made Jin Zeyi recall his missed meeting as he recognized it was indeed Director Guan's work. He immediately called A Tai, who informed him that Ling Xiquan had already gone to dinner with Director Guan.
Luo Tianran overheard snippets of the call and tried to inquire about Tiffany, but Jin Zeyi quickly diverted the conversation, leaving her questions unanswered. The next day, during a team meeting, Tiffany publicly announced an indefinite suspension of all of Jin Zeyi's commercial activities, including his upcoming concert. This effectively put his career on hold. Jin Zeyi apologized for missing the meeting with Director Guan, but Tiffany was unmoved.
She accused him of disrespecting his colleagues and their collective efforts by neglecting his career for a girl, emphasizing that it was not just his career but also hers. Jin Zeyi insisted the blame lay solely with him and had nothing to do with Luo Tianran, but his defense only solidified Tiffany's disdain for Luo Tianran. Their argument ended poorly, and they parted ways on bad terms.
Later, Jin Zeyi was alone in a dance studio, diligently practicing his concert choreography, despite the uncertainty of when he would perform again. When Luo Tianran called, he did not take out his frustration on her. Instead, he lightheartedly listed several dishes, instructing her to prepare dinner for him before he returned home.
