Chen Musen remarked that if he didn't know they were siblings, their behavior could easily be mistaken for a romantic relationship. Seizing the opportunity, Yin Yike introduced Xu Guangxi as her boyfriend, a revelation that shocked Chen Musen.
Struggling to process the news, he admitted he felt "stupid" for not realizing it sooner and comically declared he should "run away from home" to give them space. Later, Yin Yike and Xu Guangxi shared a private moment. He explained he was trying to find ways to help her with the "Flower World" case from a different angle, hoping to "save the beauty with talent."
He also jokingly confessed that his phone, which he'd claimed was out of battery, "came to life" the moment she called him her boyfriend. The next morning, Chen Musen humorously asked if his hotel expenses would be reimbursed, to which Xu Guangxi promised to pay him double in a red envelope when he eventually found a girlfriend. Her father and Aunt Lan also arrived, with her father confusedly asking how they got into a car crash on the way to get a marriage certificate. The officer then gestured to Xu Guangxi and asked about him, and Yin Yike publicly declared, "He's my boyfriend." Her father was stunned and enraged. Chen Ye added to the argument, pointing out that Li Zelin didn't even know Yin Yike was allergic to pollen and that his gift of a golf bag was more for his own status than for her father's enjoyment. Yin's father then speculated that Yin Yike might be using Xu Guangxi as a front to escape Li Zelin, a theory Chen Ye immediately shot down.
Later, Xu Guangxi apologized to Yin Yike for his impulsive actions in front of her father, but she reassured him she had no regrets, calling his behavior "cool." They reflected that the chaotic revelation might have been the best possible outcome. Yin Yike decided to go home to talk to her father, and Xu Guangxi suggested he should probably keep his distance for a while.
He then recalled a time when his mother, Aunt Lan, had advised him to protect the girl he likes without naming anyone, making them both suspect she had known about their relationship all along.
