Her father, unhappy about her missing their family plans, questioned the necessity of a weekend trip. Her brother, Yin Yibo, had also noticed several unusual changes in Yin Yike, such as her extended nightly beauty routines, including using two face masks and meticulously shaping her eyebrows.
His suspicion grew when he found a lacy nightgown she had packed. Worried she was seeing someone behind her family's back, he called her colleague, Xia Xiaomian, who confirmed there was no company outing. Concerned, Yin Yibo confronted Xu Guangxi, listing his sister's strange new habits. Xu Guangxi, secretly pleased, realized Yin Yike's efforts were for their relationship. When Yin Yibo mentioned the lacy nightgown, Xu Guangxi blushed.
Convinced his sister had broken up with Li Zelin and was now seeing someone else, Yin Yibo declared his intention to go to the camping base to vet the new man. He confessed that he liked her, warning that his life was like a "shaky boat," but he was determined to become its master navigator. This led to a passionate kiss, but their moment was shattered by a phone call from Chen Ye's sister. Panicked, Chen Ye abruptly pushed Qin Yiran away and rushed off after a hasty apology, leaving her furious at being stood up yet again.
