Concerned about Liang Chen's return trip from Shanghai, Lu Jing analyzes weather data and predicts an 83% chance of a storm for the coming week. Liang Chen, however, isn't planning to stay that long; despite a PR event keeping her busy until the next afternoon, she intends to head back immediately after. Meanwhile, Lu Jing is eating crayfish with his friends when he gets a text from Liang Chen asking if he's home.
In a hurry to leave, Lu Jing concedes defeat to his friend in a crayfish-peeling race. He has his own two plates packed to go, treats his friends to two new plates on his tab, and tells them to eat their fill, which prompts them to order three more. Once home, Liang Chen goes online to play a game with Lu Jing.
He initiates the interaction by "selling" her a white dress in the game for one yuan, a gesture she appreciates. They dive into the game, displaying initial teamwork and excitement. However, their progress is abruptly halted when they are defeated by a bazooka. Liang Chen playfully teases Lu Jing about his past live stream failures, suggesting he frequently "throws" games. Lu Jing jokingly attributes their loss to eating too much crayfish.
He then offers to treat Liang Chen to crayfish sometime, but she politely declines, citing the effort involved and the late hour. This refusal leaves Lu Jing feeling disappointed, prompting him to secretly search for her real-life location, which he pinpoints as Nanze University, Dormitory A, 8A-417. On a film set in the mountains, the crew enjoys a barbecue party funded by Director He. Sun Binyu, praised for his performance, is rewarded with a pork knuckle.
Learning that co-star Ma Shanshan sprained her foot, he brings her the pork knuckle, conveying the crew's well wishes. However, Ma Shanshan politely declines and closes the door, despite his insistence that it would be good for her foot. Later, Sun Binyu expresses his strong desire to collaborate with Ma Shanshan on a romantic comedy, referring to her as his "hard disk goddess" and mentioning his "ten terabytes" collection of her work, a comment Ma Shanshan unfortunately overhears.
Ding Jiayun declines an invitation from Ms. Lan Yao, with his assistant noting he would have agreed if the invitation came from Liang Chen. He then meets Liang Chen at a jewelry store, asking for her help to select a birthday gift for his mother. He subtly mentions that his mother's birthday, November 7, is the same as Liang Chen's, which eases her initial reluctance.
Liang Chen suggests a jade piece, believing it suits his mother's temperament and is good for her health. Ding Jiayun accepts her advice, confident his mother will love the gift. As Lu Jing and Zhou Zhou prepare to depart for a competition in Guangzhou, Zhou Zhou playfully suggests Lu Jing find a girlfriend to take his intense focus off him.
At the airport, they learn only one economy class seat is left, so Zhou Zhou accepts a complimentary upgrade to first class. Aboard the plane, Lu Jing goes to the first-class cabin to get his earphones from Zhou Zhou and is stunned to find Liang Chen seated there.
His mind races, connecting the dots: his gaming partner "Little Box" mentioned a business trip to Guangzhou, and Liang Chen had said she would be busy during the day but free to play games at night. Seeing her on this very flight, Lu Jing realizes that Liang Chen must be "Little Box".
