> Lighter&Princess Recap
Xu Lina thought Li Xun had beaten Fang Zhijing for her sake. She suddenly came to kiss Li Xun on the cheek and set a meeting for ten the next day, saying she had something to tell him. Zhu Yun scolded Li Xun for not knowing how to reject someone. Li Xun said nothing and just told her to go home.
Worried that Li Xun might be swayed by Xu Lina, Zhu Yun rushed to ask Ren Di for help—she asked her to deliver a princess dress and also sought advice on confessing to Li Xun. Ren Di felt they were a great match, but warned that once Li Xun was committed emotionally, he wouldn’t tolerate betrayal. Ren Di delivered the princess dress.
Zhu Yun did her hair and went to see Li Xun, thinking he had already left with Xu Lina—but Li Xun showed up behind her. Zhu Yun asked him to choose her and promised to always stand by him, be his loyal follower, and cheer for him. Li Xun hugged her tightly, smiling with satisfaction. Zhu Yun posted a photo of them on her Moments feed. Li Xun teased her for being cheesy but held her even tighter.
Three years later, when Zhu Yun went to take her entrance exam, Li Xun didn’t show up. She scolded him for not planning to pursue graduate studies and not considering her feelings. If she gave up, her family would be furious. As his girlfriend, her demand wasn’t excessive. Seeing her upset, Li Xun rode after her, joking that she’d given up her “king. ” Zhu Yun ignored him in anger. When Li Xun faked back pain, she quickly ran back.
He promised to pick her up after the exam. Li Xun said he’d take Zhu Yun out to eat and brought her to his newly opened company to surprise her. In the storage room, Zhu Yun saw the company’s name—two letters. She was thrilled, thinking it stood for lighter and princess dress, and hoped Li Xun would confirm it. But Li Xun intentionally gave other meanings and teased her for being narcissistic.
Laughter filled the office as Zhu Yun hugged him, wanting to start a business together. Fu Yizhuo suddenly showed up to see Li Xun and met Zhu Yun. When he reached out to shake her hand, Li Xun slapped his palm, saying greetings were fine, but touching Zhu Yun wasn’t allowed. Fu Yizhuo showed off a dance he’d been practicing, saying he was a dancer, but Li Xun mocked his efforts as worthless.
Fu Yizhuo wanted to talk to Li Xun, but he wouldn’t listen and left with Zhu Yun, telling Fu Yizhuo to lock up. Zhu Yun felt it was rude to leave Fu Yizhuo behind, but Li Xun didn’t care. Back home, Zhu Yun still didn’t understand why Li Xun was acting that way and kept asking. Li Xun finally told her the truth—that his connection with Fu Yizhuo was the reason he got expelled: he had helped him cheat.
That was when he met Liu Ailin and first saw Zhu Yun—cutting a cake, surrounded by others. She looked like a noble princess. It was an unforgettable moment for him. Zhu Yun felt heartache hearing this. Li Xun hugged her and told her that Fu Yizhuo’s father owned a company and had money, but with the decline of traditional businesses, he probably came to offer Li Xun a job in internet operations.
Fu Yizhuo didn’t know anything about it, and Li Xun didn’t want to be part of that past anymore. Zhu Yun understood and supported his decision. Zhu Yun learned from Li Xun that Fu Yizhuo had always loved dancing and didn’t get along with his family. His only friend was Li Xun.
She then realized Fu Yizhuo had secretly slipped a note with his number into her bag, so she went to find him and saw him dancing at a bar. Fu Yizhuo started telling her about how he met Li Xun. When Fu Yizhuo was in his first year of high school, he often skipped classes. One time, while climbing over a wall to skip class with a classmate, he left his bag on the ground.
After finally managing to sit on top of the wall, he couldn't get down. Just then, Li Xun arrived. Li Xun offered to help him by picking up his bag and doing his homework, but for a fee. Fu Yizhuo, who wasn't short on money, saw the security guard approaching and hurriedly agreed. Later, Fu Yizhuo learned that Li Xun was always short on money because his mother had cancer.
