Gu Zijun was a bit confused why Song Yao was so sure that Ji Chengan would help them find the killer. Song Yao and the others went all out. Song Yao disguised herself as a nurse and successfully infiltrated the hospital to see Ji Chengan. Song Yao took out the pendant from Ji Honglin's car and asked Ji Chengan about it.

Ji Chengan didn't think much of it and recognized that the pendant was a gift from his uncle to his father. Song Yao prompted Ji Chengan, "Haven't you, being so smart, noticed anything unusual about the recent events? " Song Yao showed Ji Chengan the pendant she held.
