Police informed the Shan family that Shan Junhao's car had plunged into the sea while he was trying to avoid a large truck. Upon hearing the news, his father, Yaolong, nearly collapsed. Despite extensive search efforts, the police had not found Shan Junhao. Fortunately, he survived, washing ashore, where he awoke in a dazed state and attempted to reach the road for help.
Meanwhile, Chen Jinzhi, Ye Shengzhe, and Ye Qianyu were cheerfully driving home after celebrating Shengzhe's first show with a buffet. Suddenly, a man appeared in front of their car. Ye Qianyu braked hard, but the man, whom she recognized as Shan Junhao, fell to the ground. Though initially flustered, the kind-hearted trio got out to check on him and discovered he was still alive.
As they lifted him into the car, preparing to take him to the hospital, they were intercepted by Officer Li Donglu. Desperate to conceal the accident, Mama Jinzhi claimed the "foot" Li Donglu spotted in their car was merely a doll prop from Shengzhe's show and tried to send him away. However, Li Donglu, having a crush on Mama Jinzhi, insisted on following them back to her "Money Bag Grocery." After much effort, they finally persuaded Li Donglu to leave.
While debating whether to take Shan Junhao to the hospital, worried about the uninsured car and potential medical expenses, Shan Junhao unexpectedly regained consciousness in their car. Shan Junhao woke up disoriented, unable to recall anything, including his own name or his past interactions with Ye Qianyu. Ye Qianyu seized the opportunity to prevent him from remembering the car accident.
She presented him with an IOU he had previously written, labeling him a "liar" who owed her money, and cautioned him against going to the police, warning that he would be "walking himself to jail." After he tried writing, recognizing the handwriting as his own, he accepted the name "Tonghao" from the IOU. The family decided to keep him temporarily, intending to let him go once they were certain his amnesia was genuine.
The next morning, Tonghao still remembered nothing and continued to believe his name was indeed Tonghao. Shengzhe soon noticed Tonghao's remarkable intelligence, as he effortlessly solved a Rubik's cube. Tonghao then demonstrated an impressive talent for organizing items in Mama Jinzhi's "Money Bag Grocery," transforming the store's appearance so thoroughly that Ye Qianyu remarked it looked like a completely new establishment. When asked about his former profession, Tonghao, still lacking memory, speculated he might have been a supermarket salesman.
Recalling the alleged debt, Tonghao asked Mama Jinzhi if he could work at the store to pay it off, a proposition she ultimately accepted. Upon learning that the police had found no trace of Shan Junhao, his father, Yaolong, collapsed and was hospitalized, with doctors advising against any further emotional distress. Xu Ziqian worked diligently to keep Junhao's disappearance confidential from the public.
Within the company, Senwell, he announced that Junhao was on a "secret research" abroad and stepped in to manage his responsibilities. Ziqian remained steadfast in his belief that Junhao was alive and would eventually return, committed to maintaining stability for both the Shan family and Senwell. However, Vice President Zhang Minghan, sensing an opportunity for a power grab, confronted Ziqian in the General Manager's office.
Zhang Minghan, suspicious of Junhao's absence from his engagement and an important meeting with Zhiwen Capital, openly questioned Ziqian's authority as merely an operations director. Ziqian reminded Zhang Minghan that Chairman Shan was still officially in charge, but Zhang Minghan countered by pointing out that Chairman Shan was in the ICU. Consequently, Zhang Minghan demanded a board meeting to seek interim management authority for Senwell.
Meanwhile, Taichu arrived to meet Ye Qianyu, with Mama Jinzhi subtly trying to encourage a romantic connection. However, Mama Jinzhi became noticeably anxious upon hearing Tonghao mention that Ye Qianyu and Taichu were heading to Dolphin Island. Ye Qianyu and Taichu embarked on a yacht trip to the island. During the choppy ride, Ye Qianyu accidentally leaned into Taichu, experiencing a novel sensation she mistook for a romantic spark.
Taichu asked why she dared to venture to Dolphin Island, a place others avoided due to its dangers. Ye Qianyu playfully boasted that her courage was "fatter than pork belly." Unexpectedly, the yacht's engine broke down, forcing them to paddle back manually. Ye Qianyu apologized to Taichu for her failure to properly check the boat, which meant he missed seeing the fabled white dolphins.
Taichu, however, remained calm, reassuring her that unforeseen events were simply part of any journey and that the white dolphin was, after all, just a legend, finding their unplanned return quite interesting. As they strained to paddle towards Guanmei Fishing Village, their phones lost signal. Just as Ye Qianyu's spirits dipped, Taichu suggested they enjoy the beautiful sunshine and scenery rather than lament their predicament, remarking, "Right, 'pork belly'?"
Soon after, Tonghao's voice was heard calling for Ye Qianyu across the water as he arrived in a boat to rescue them, demonstrating his deep concern for her. He had previously complimented her appearance without makeup and always complied with her requests.
