Bai Qian and Li Jing met at the entrance of Green Hill, where Bai Qian sought a definitive end to their relationship. Li Jing confessed his past jealousy of Mo Yuan and claimed ignorance of Bai Qian's severe injuries when she requested the Jaded Soul. He knelt, pleading for her forgiveness and insisting he had never forgotten her. Bai Qian, however, retorted that he only desired what he could not possess and failed to cherish what he had.
She recounted the profound pain she endured after Mo Yuan's passing and her deep disappointment when Li Jing denied her the Jaded Soul, revealing that after that incident, she realized her true feelings were not for him. She acknowledged that he was indeed the only man she had loved in 140,000 years, but emphasized that too much had changed for them to ever return to their past.
With that, she declared they should be strangers from now on and departed, leaving a heartbroken Li Jing behind. This encounter erased any remaining memories of her past as Si Yin. Meanwhile, Zhe Yan arrived at the fox den, only to find Bai Qian and Ye Hua absent. Mi Gu informed him that Ye Hua had taken Bai Qian to the Heavenly Palace, believing that the Heavenly Spring Pool of Lord of Lingbao would greatly aid her recovery.
Zhe Yan then visited Mo Yuan in Yan Hua Cave, instructing Mi Gu to keep his visit a secret. When Bai Zhen returned, Zhe Yan shared that he had devised a method to save the Western Sea's eldest prince and needed to return to the Peach Blossom Forest to consult his medical texts. Bai Zhen urged him to go quickly.
Zhe Yan then proceeded to Kunlun Void, observing dragon energy emanating from the desolate mountain, which confirmed his suspicions regarding Mo Yuan. He encountered the Second Disciple of Kunlun Void, who mentioned that many disciples were still searching for Mo Yuan or Si Yin, and that Zi Lan had recently gone to the Mortal Realm after Li Jing claimed to have seen Si Yin.
Zhe Yan, feigning another purpose, stated he was there to check on the Fuxi Zither, sealed under Kunlun Mountain. Ye Hua brought Bai Qian to Pure Wutong Palace in the Heavenly Palace. Bai Qian remarked on the absence of guards, to which Ye Hua explained they were attending Old Monarch Taishang's public Dao lecture, even suggesting Bai Qian, known for her Daoist discussions in the mortal realm, could debate with him.
Noticing the dim lighting within the palace, Bai Qian questioned it, and Ye Hua revealed it was adjusted to protect her sensitive eyes, a thoughtful gesture that touched her. To avoid disturbing the palace residents, Ye Hua carried Bai Qian over a wall into the courtyard. She playfully teased him about their entry method and then inquired about the numerous official documents he must have accumulated, which led him to display a rare, boyish embarrassment that secretly delighted her.
Bai Qian suggested staying in Ah Li's Qingyun Hall for her recuperation, but Ye Hua informed her he had already prepared a private bedchamber. When she cautiously brought up the topic of her master, Ye Hua assured her that his condition would remain a secret. He then led her to a courtyard filled with beautiful peach blossoms, which he called "Courtyard of Moonlight."
Bai Qian admired the flowers, and Ye Hua revealed he had planted them 300 years prior, and they were only now blooming for the first time, a fact Bai Qian found amusingly patient. Despite the beauty, Bai Qian felt an inexplicable sense of discomfort upon entering the Courtyard of Moonlight. As Bai Qian rested, Nai Nai, a maid, brought her tea.
Upon seeing Bai Qian, Nai Nai was overcome with emotion, kneeling and exclaiming that she was the "My Lady" she had awaited for 300 years, clearly mistaking Bai Qian for someone else. Bai Qian, recognizing the confusion, gently tried to clarify her identity as Bai Qian of Green Hill. Ye Hua then confirmed Bai Qian's identity to Nai Nai and instructed her to care for Bai Qian and prepare for their visit to the Heavenly Spring.
Meanwhile, in another part of the palace, Su Jin learned of Bai Qian's presence in the Courtyard of Moonlight, a place Ye Hua had guarded fiercely for 300 years. This news deeply troubled Su Jin, who worried Bai Qian was a formidable rival. Later, Bai Qian inquired about Ye Hua's fondness for peach blossoms, and Nai Nai explained that Ye Hua had planted them after "His Young Highness's mother" passed away.
Ah Li then ran into the courtyard, joyfully calling Bai Qian "Mother," causing Nai Nai to drop a vase in surprise. Bai Qian, still recovering from her injuries, gently directed Ah Li to his father for a hug. Ah Li, drawing from books he had read, speculated that Bai Qian must be pregnant, making him happy about potentially not being the youngest in Heaven anymore.
Ye Hua, seizing the moment, suggested they have another child immediately after their wedding, to which Bai Qian playfully retorted that she would gladly "help" if he were the one giving birth. Bai Qian suggested they all go to the Heavenly Spring, including Ah Li. At the Heavenly Spring, Bai Qian playfully discussed the proper retinue for a Heavenly Consort with Ye Hua.
He informed her about the fruit wines provided and cautioned her to give Ah Li only a small amount of wine and to limit his portions of fruits and vegetables. Ye Hua then took the fan given by Zhe Yan, remarking that it needed a poem, and left to inscribe it in his study, telling Bai Qian to find him there later.
Bai Qian explained to Ah Li that his father had important responsibilities, which was why he couldn't join them. In his study, Ye Hua reflected on Bai Qian's enduring fondness for peach blossoms. He acknowledged the possibility of self-deception and Bai Qian's hidden feelings, but his conviction remained: she was the only woman he had ever loved, and he was resolved to wait for her to forget Mo Yuan and truly fall in love with him.
Su Jin met with Miao Qing, presenting her with a "nourishing soup" containing an aphrodisiac and instructing her to use Ye Hua's return as an opportunity to secure her place in Pure Wutong Palace. Su Jin assured a hesitant Miao Qing that if she were to have intimate relations with Ye Hua, he would take responsibility, and her status as Ah Li's savior, coupled with Su Jin's backing, would protect her from his anger.
Meanwhile, at the Heavenly Spring, Bai Qian allowed Ah Li to have some loquat fruit wine. Despite Bai Qian's casual dismissal of its potency, Ah Li quickly became drunk and feverish. Nai Nai, concerned, suggested taking him to the Medicine King, but Bai Qian, confident in her long experience with alcohol, dismissed the worry, stating he would simply sleep it off and wake in six hours.
Later, Bai Qian, curious about the palace's past and the deceased "Lady," tried to glean information from a maid, who claimed ignorance due to the demotion of older maids. Bai Qian, deducing a cover-up, then asked for directions to Ye Hua's study. Miao Qing, carrying the nourishing soup, went to Ye Hua's study. She announced her imminent departure for the Eastern Sea and requested he drink the soup to signify the end of their "fate."
Ye Hua, however, responded by stating they had no such fate and then immediately launched into an interrogation. He questioned her about her recent trip to the Eastern Sea, revealing that during Emperor Donghua's mortal tribulation, Bai Qian was pushed into a lake and almost drowned due to her sealed powers. He fiercely rebuked Miao Qing, threatening severe consequences for attempting to harm a High Goddess. A terrified Miao Qing confessed her mistake and pleaded for forgiveness.
Ye Hua then demanded to know the contents of the soup, and Miao Qing admitted it was an aphrodisiac intended to induce intimacy with him. When pressed about the source, she falsely claimed to have bought it from the Mortal Realm, which Ye Hua scoffed at. At this precise moment, Su Jin entered, feigning concern and attempting to intercede on Miao Qing's behalf.
Arriving outside Ye Hua's study, Bai Qian heard crying and, assuming Ye Hua was engaged in a romantic dalliance with a maid, decided to retreat discreetly. However, Ye Hua called her inside to retrieve the fan with the inscribed poem. Entering, Bai Qian found Su Jin and Miao Qing kneeling before Ye Hua.
She noted Su Jin's beautiful eyes, yet felt the woman herself was unworthy of them, and directly commented on them, which startled Su Jin, who seemed to recognize Bai Qian's resemblance to Su Su. Miao Qing desperately pleaded with Bai Qian for help. Bai Qian, sighing, addressed Ye Hua, asserting that Miao Qing was not entirely at fault.
She pointed out that Ye Hua, despite knowing Miao Qing's affection, brought her to Heaven intending to repay a debt, but this inadvertently gave Miao Qing false hope. When Ye Hua countered that Miao Qing had claimed to be content as a maid, Bai Qian skeptically asked if he truly believed what a woman in love says. She then advised Miao Qing to return to the Eastern Sea. Seizing the opportunity, Bai Qian quickly retrieved her fan and departed.
Following her intervention, Ye Hua firmly declared to the kneeling women that Bai Qian was his wife and the sole legitimate Lady of Pure Wutong Palace, dismissing Miao Qing and instructing her to return to the Eastern Sea.
